"NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPANISHED"

We have a service contract on our 7-year old hot water heater. We called the company servicing the contract and they contacted A. J. Graf Plumbing to call us and see what could be done. Joe Graf responded almost immediately and said he would come out to inspect our hot water heater. The problem was that we would only get hot water part of the time, not on a continuous basis.
Joe was very responsive and he and his helper, Bob, came out within a day. They had to deal with some onerous requirements set forth by the service contract provider, but they handled all these details on their own, without us having to get in the middle. They first tried what the service provider suggested, and when that did not solve the problem, they suggested another approach, which the service contract provider ultimately agreed with. They did not have the parts with them to implement the second solution, but Joe said that his son, Tracey, would get the parts and call us to set up an appointment to fix the water heater.
Tracey called us within 24 hours and we set up a time for him to come out. He and Bob arrived on time and made the necessary repairs in a timely fashion.
The water heater is now working fine. We were very impressed with the service provided by A. J. Graf Plumbing. They were timely, professional, and took the initiative to work within the requirements of our service contract provider. Since the work was done under the service contract, there was no cost to us and, consequently, we cannot comment on their charges.
