The contractor was responsive, addressing my concerns before hand, sent me an estimate, I approved and contacted me when they were ready to do the project. The job looked really good until about a week later we suffered torrential rains. These kinds of rains have occurred before and but never that kind of rutting and, in addition, swirling of the gravel that occurred with this event. I contacted Boehnen, left 3 messages with the receptionist for my contact, Dale. He did call and leave a message once. I had to call back twice to finally reach him. His response to my problem was that not enough gravel was added since I wanted to minimize the cost, the drive was not crowned but sloped to one side, and that's why it rutted out. I asked him to look at it again as I had paid him to do a job where the driveway would hold up for another season. There is been no follow-up or contact with me since that phone call.
