WADE ALAN HOME IMPROVEMENTS

I've used Wade's services many times.   He has worked on removing and replacing my house siding and has also installed also both indoor and patio doors and also reinstalled an interior french door which included pulling out defective work done by another home improvement co.  He is prompt , thorough and knowledgeable.   The work in my kitchen which was mentioned above has made a huge difference in the looks of my kitchen and the work, as always, is wonderful.   I'd refer him to anyone without hesitation.

I've used Wade Allen before. Wade is always a professional and does excellent work. He's practical and leaves the work area better than when he started. No unexpected costs or surprises.

Wade Alan is a hard-working, honest individual with skill, integrity, and work ethic that is hard to come by these days. He is knowledgable in his trade and his work is top-notch. He rebuilt our very old, unsafe deck and not only did a beautiful job of completing the task as we asked, he was able to improve the safety features to make it up to code and complete the job in a very timely manner. We would undoubtedly hire Wade again and would recommend him to anyone.

He was wonderful. He was easy to have around. It was just himself and one other person that helped him sometimes, so there wasn't a lot of people in and out of your house. He was efficient. I can't say enough about him. I would recommend him to anyone. I would use him again.

He is honest, reasonable in his pricing, pleasant and professional. We have no concerns about giving him access to our home when we are not there. He will be doing siding for us in the Spring of 2013. At this point, we wouldn't consider anyone else but Wade for our home renovation projects.

Overall the quality of his work was fantastic. The doors are lovely, exactly what we wanted, skillfully hung, and function great with good weather/sound protection. The trim was very nicely applied and Wade was friendly and accommodating to my tight schedule.
I did have one problem with the services provided and can't really figure out where to put it - I don't want to ding his overall score but it does need to be noted. Wade made two mistakes with ordering that he didn't notice till the day of installation, and because my schedule was tight, I had to live with the mistakes rather than have him correct them.
The interior door was a custom order and was supposed to be primed - when Wade showed up on the morning of the installation, he said he just found out it was unprimed when he picked it up that morning, and we could re-order it as primed and reschedule installation if desired. I didn't have time to reschedule (we were getting too close to Christmas for me to take more time off) so I just had him install the unprimed door. If he had found out before the morning of installation, I could have rescheduled, but not after he was already there.
The second error was that both of the exterior doors were supposed to be drilled for deadbolts and one of them was not. I re-checked his written estimate, it was clearly written there for both to have deadbolts. Again, Wade did offer to reorder and come back for reinstallation, and since we didn't want to he did agree to knock $100 of the cost since we'd have to have a locksmith out now.
Overall, I think Wade did fantastic work. But it was very unnerving to have errors made on two out of three doors that we were having worked on. Maybe he was just having a bad day; maybe it wouldn't have been an issue if my schedule wasn't so limited.
Just be sure to have him double check your order if it's critical, and leave enough time for rescheduling if something goes awry! Otherwise I was very satisfied and would recommend him.

Wade is honest, trustworthy, punctual, friendly, and his work is outstanding. I have used him for siding, and for interior door replacement.
