Appointment scheduled within 2 days of call. Technician called twice informing us if arrival time. Technician was knowledgable, courteous and professional. Repair work done on Viking range. Technician also checked out minor problem on a subzero refrigerator and provided advice.

r end, we Our refrigerator stopped working 10 days ago and we called Central Services to assess the situation. They were very prompt and came the same day and determined that our 7 year old refrigerator needed a control board which was ordered the same day and the service man said he would return early the next week when the part came in. So we waited 5 days and heard nothing so called to check on the part. I found their responses quite customer - unfriendly - basically saying there was nothing they could do to speed up the delivery of the part and no way to speed the process up. On our end we had no refrigeration and were living from ice chests, So I looked up the part online and was easily able to find the part and could have had it delivered in 24 hrs.but decided to continue with the planned order through Central Services. Seems like their supplier was pretty slow. The part finally came 7 days after the initial order and I again had to make a couple of calls to Central Services so we would know when it would be here.. Then on the day we arranged to have the repair done, there was no specified time arranged for repair by Central Services. They said the service person would call 30 minutes before coming - so we had to wait the entire day so we would be at home when the repair would be done. Again, I was amazed that they would not set some specified time for the repair to be done as every other company does.
To their credit, the service man finally came late in the day and did call before arrival. And he efficient and thorough job repairing the frig. So, it seems that their repair people are quite good but I felt their ordering and scheduling were certainly lacking..

He was able to do i n 1/2 hour which Champion Appliance said they could not handle due to liability. He sucked out the old water , and the clogged material and cleaned it out. Checked t he pump and the belts and all were OK. Very nice and professional.
Dave was a real craftsman. This company was recommended to me by someone not a member of Angies List. THey need to be on it!

Did not bring warranty as promised. Worker was very rude and unresponsive to small talk, left empty parts box on counter. Did not seem dedicated to providing a good impression on the family who employed him. Will not be coming back.

I could write it all out but it is essentially the same review as the one posted. They never called me with time lines, I had to keep calling to bug them. Always same thing..yes we just got the part in..what a bunch of bull. What should not have taken long took 3 weeks because the only diagnosed 1/2 of the problem the first time around! Unbelievable. Never again will we use this company. Very lame customer service and they have no idea how to schedule things ahead of time.

Found fridge without power in afternoon of Good Fri, 4/2/10. Immediately started calling for service, could not find someone available (Tri County and Standish were my first choices). Stanish also told me he would not be able to get a part in town regardless of not being available. Central Service provides service on Sat. and advertises service on LG's, so we were hoping they would have a part and we wouldn't be without a fridge for an extended period of time. Tech came on Sat. diagnosed problem and told us the LG parts come from CA, would be ordered with a "rush" on Mon. and would be installed later in the week. He also said we would receive a call on Mon with the cost on the part. When we didn't hear anything, I called on Wed morning, talked to someone who didn't seem to be able to find our order, put me on hold, came back and said it wasn't in and would arrive later in the week. Got the feeling it had just been ordered as we spoke. We set up the installation for Sat. Called on Fri to confirm Sat installation and was told the part must be "backordered" and wasn't in. When I asked when the part was ordered my suspicion was verified, Wed, not Mon. They kept attributing it to being backordered until I pushed the issue and then they finaly acknowledged they had made a mistake and gave a quick "I'm sorry" and again referred to LG as the problem. I felt like I had to brow beat her into acknowledging and apologizing for their part of the delay. I understand mistakes are made, but just own up to it to the customer. Called on Mon to check on part, it had still not arrived, and was told they were calling the next day to check on the delay because now another part had not arrived. Apparently, one customer without a fridge for over a week did not warrant placing a call to check on the part sooner. Didn't hear anything on Tues, called Wed at 1:45PM, and was told "Oh ya, I mean't to call you, we'll have somone there after 3PM to install the part. WOW! While I was happy that I would have a working fridge that day, what with no advance notice? What poor communication! What if I had not called when I did? What if I wasn't home and couldn't get there? This was very poor customer service. They seemed completely insensitive to someone not having a fridge for 11 days, didn't order the part on time, and didn't communicate throughout. The tech's were fine, in and out in 15 min's. Beware that LG parts are not carried locally, although under normal circumstances, I'm told they are shipped overnight. Just use a service that will order promptly and communicate. Not sure how their service fees compare to others.

The job went well. It took two visits, one to diagnose and order the part, and the second to complete the work. I've used Central Service for other, similar work such as the washing machine, dishwasher, etc. They are reliable, but not cheap.
