Dave worked great with our schedules and did an awesome job repairing our ceiling and finishing my husbands office. We are so pleased with his work and would definitely hire him again.

We are very pleased with the quality of work that was completed by Dave. His price was very reasonable. He added in a few extras that were unknown prior to starting the job and was reasonable on the additional cost. In addition, he was willing to accommodate a week delay in starting the job at the last minute after arrangement had been made. While priming and painting, we found no problem areas. We will be hiring Dave in the future.

Being an owner/builder of a new house, I got more quotes for drywall than any other service I hired out. I got quotes from $13,000, all the way to $23,000 for the same scope of work. Dave's quote was somewhere in the middle. When he contacted me about the bid, I told him I was thinking about going with someone else at the lower price range, he offered to take some money off his bid in order to win my business. The other company I was leaning towards wouldn't budge on price without removing items from the scope fo work. So Dave got the job. Previously in my build project, I had some unpleasant experiences with some of the other trades that I hired, so I was pleasantly surprised when Dave and his crew would show up early to the job, and work long hours. Unlike other trades I hired, I never had to worry about him screwing me out of any material costs, cutting corners, or constant excuses for not showing up to work on my job. Dave even accommodated my request for some unique drywalled pockets above each window to accept hidden, recessed window blinds. He did a better job than expected on these areas given the rough window framing, and protruding metal window flanges that could've potentially caused an uneven drywall finish. After the job was over, he offered to come back to do some touch up work if I noticed any blemishes or rough spots after primer had been applied. I begrudgingly took him up on this offer, and his response was eager saying that "you already paid for the job, so I'd be happy to come fix those things". From my experience, this response is shocking...usually after a contractor has been paid, you can't get them to show up for anything. He was friendly, personable, and a great guy to work with. I will be recommending to anyone I know who needs drywall work done.

Professional, prompt, and accurate installation.

Excellent in every way. Quality of work superb. Punctuality and professionalism was perfect. Dave helped with some off the wall jobs I had too, including putting up a spot light with camera on the garage. He was very informative and showed me how to do a couple things I could do myself. Would I hire him again? In a heartbeat.

He installed the corner bead himself, taped, and mudded (both walls and ceilings) which was all included in his estimate. It took roughly 5 days. He worked with my schedule, was always on time, polite, cleaned up afterwards, and the finished product looks fantastic! Did great work and at a fraction of the cost as most professional drywalling companies! I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dave hits another one out of the park for us.  This is the second time we had DW Drywall do work at our home.  Dave is really in tune with his clients.  He keeps you in the loop, does the work on time, keeps things tidy, very flexible and very reasonably priced.   We will definitely use Dave for any future work.  Thank you again. 

We had some recessed lighting changed to smaller fixtures. This left holes in the ceiling. Not a lot of drywall but a ton of work for each hole. Dave took great pains to reduce the amount of dust and even cleaned my hardwood floors each day with the Bona and mop I had set out for me to take care of when I got home. He is the kind of guy you can trust in your house alone. On the last day he brought Keith to help with the painting portion of the job (Ceiling and wall in kitchen where drywall repairs were done when electrical wiring had to be installed) Both polite men and willing to do what it takes to get the job done the way we wanted it.

Dave and his workers are amazing. He showed up when he said he would and got to the job right away. Not only does he do an amazing job he also does it in a timely manner. He did a lot of repairing of existing drywall which required blending the ceiling in. It turned out great. He did extras and didn't nickel and dime us to death. Dave did a great job start to finish on our basement remodeling project.  Communication was great.  More often than not he actually answered the phone when I called, and if I left a message, he returned the call promptly.  He showed up for the estimate on time and described what he could do and the different options I might have.  He followed up the next day with a written quote, which was very competitive with several other drywall contractors I had gotten estimates from.

When I decided to go with Dave, he was flexible on the start date which helped me to wrap up my do-it-yourself electrical work and get an inspection before he started.  He brought in a couple of extra guys to help carry in and hang the drywall and get the taping done.  All were friendly, polite, cleaned up after themselves, and were respectful to my wife who was home alone for most of the time they were here.  Dave then completed the rest of the work himself.  He showed up everyday at the time he said he would be there, and worked efficiently until he was done for the day.  He finished the job in the time he quoted.  The last day, most of his time was spent cleaning up the invariable mess that comes with drywall.  My wife told me the shop-vac was running for several hours in the basement.  He scraped up the mud glops that are unavoidable and left everything about as clean as possible given the dust that takes a couple of days to really settle out.

I was very happy with the quality of the work and it was evident Dave and his crew take pride in their work and want to do it right.

I had multiple soffits so there were a lot of corners, and a tricky spot where the end of the main house support I-beam protruded into the stairwell area.  Dave did a great job of making the end of the I-beam disappear with no noticeable bump. After he was gone and we began to paint is when I really noticed the quality of the work.  I walked around with a 4' level and checked flatness of joints and corners and could not find anything to complain about.  I have never had such an easy time trimming out the paint lines between the wall and the ceiling.  There were no blobs or cracks and the lines ran very straight.  I can't see the tape joints or screws like you often can after painting.

I've always said that if contractors who are good at their work, could also be good at the communicating and taking care of the business side of things in a professional manner, they would never have to pay for advertising and would never lack for work to do.  I think Dave is that rare contractor who has accomplished this.

The first and overall comment regarding DW Drywall is that Dave is friendly, straightforward, very capable and he follows through, keeping the customers end goals in mind.Dave promptly provided a thorough detailed quote for removal of wallpaper, drywall and plaster , repair and painting. The work wasn't easy due to layers of wallpaper and primer, and the large area of affected surfaces, and the need to match the finishes to adjacent rooms. The end result is excellent. We now have a bright fresh look to our hallway with no flaws, and finish consistent with the rest of the house. The kitchen ceiling repair is undetectable.

From the start Dave was personable, knowledgeable and timely. The estimate was very competitive so we hired DW Drywall, they exceeded my expectations and that is no small feat! Dave and Carl were on time every day, friendly and trustworthy, I had no reservations about them working in the house while I was at work. Ok, about the work, the finished drywall looks awesome, what a transformation, they are skilled and definitely take pride in their craft.
