They were very professional and courteous and they did outstanding work. The Duxback rain shedding product is awesome."

"Nicole is a gem! Very professional and her work is amazing! We restored my father-in-law s old army trunk. It was in horrible condition after sitting in a barn for years! I wanted to restore this for my husband as a gift and boy was I pleased with the outcome! Nicole was able to restore the writing that had faded and was unreadable! Replaced rotten and broken boards and even reused the original nails! We are thrilled and can t wait to restore our grandfather s work bench! If you have a family heirloom or any other project, don t hesitate to contact Nicole! You won t be disappointed!"

Woodworking questions, answered by experts

If you don’t have a coping saw, you can use an angle grinder to cope crown molding, but it takes a little more precision. Place your molding down on your workbench, angle the grinder at a 45-degree angle toward the molding, and back cut the wood. You’ll need to carefully angle your grinder to accommodate the curves in the wood, and aim to remove around 1 inch from the profile of the molding.

Yes, Corian® and other solid surface countertops can be cut with standard woodworking tools like a circular saw or a jigsaw, but using the correct blade is crucial for the best results.

The recommended blade is a tungsten carbide-tipped blade, often called a solid-surface planer or triple chip grind blade. This type of blade is hard enough to cut through the material effectively. For a jigsaw, a fine-tooth down-cutting blade should be used.

It is important to note that a diamond blade is not necessary. Diamond blades are designed for harder materials like natural stone, concrete, or brick, and Corian is not a natural stone.

Using blades designed for wood is not recommended as they can cause microfractures that weaken the countertop's edges. While a tungsten carbide blade provides a much cleaner cut, the resulting edge will still be rough and must be sanded and smoothed to prevent microfractures from developing over time.

A contract should outline the scope of work, timelines, costs, payment schedule, and materials used for clarity and protection.

Floor joists provide support and stability to the flooring installed above them, whether it be hardwood, tile, or carpet. They’re essentially horizontal beams that hold up the subfloor and everything that lies on top of it. Floor joists also help evenly distribute weight across their structure so that it’s shared between walls, beams, and your foundation.

Yes, many repair services include blade sharpening as part of the maintenance package.
