In addition to performing inspections, Andy talked with us about our options in taking care of the problems he found. For example, the shake roof on the house is starting to fail, and he explained several different ways we might take care of this. We now feel much better informed before we start talking with roofing contractors. His knowledge of building practices and materials is quite impressive. (Note: Home Inspectors, by law, do not recommend specific contractors.)
