Reommended by my insurance agent.  Everything went well from start to finish.

It was rocky.  If you want to read the details, read on.  Otherwise cut to the second paragraph......   I stopped in the office and was waited on and shown the product.  He gave me an idea of the cost, and I told the representative that I was interested and wanted to go forward with a formal measurement and proposal.  We set a date, but had to change it.  After agreeing to a new date, no one showed up at the prescribed date/time.   I called and left a voice mail, but got no call back.  After a while, I went in to the office a second time and asked to set up another date, which worked.   After that measurement I did not hear back from the representative, or anyone else at the company.  After several weeks passed, I made a third trip to the office and explained that they had not responded.  The representative that I had first worked with was there and said he had already ordered the door.  I was shocked, since I hadn't signed any proposal.  He said that he made a mistake, and asked if I wanted it after providing a formal price.  Since they were a full 20% less than anyone else, my wish to save money was greater than my frustration level. I also believe in spending locally where I can.  After several weeks STILL not hearing anything from this company, I made yet a 4th trip to their office, which happens to be about a mile away from our home.  I didn't want to leave another voice mail, and asked what had happened the order.  The same representative that I had dealt with initially said that the order came in and was the wrong door, so he ordered another.  No call, no other explanation.  Most of us would have given up a long time ago, but we had just spent a good deal of money on other home renovations and I was attempting to reign in the budget.  
If your still reading, the final result was a good installation by a talented installer, and we're happy with the shower door.  This company appears to be family-owned, totally disorganized, unprofessional, and their customer service is horrendous. But, I think their heart is in the right place overall.  They appear to be honest and in the end, provided a product other companies were charging 20% more for.  One reason I said they were honest is that they suggested we coat the shower door with RainX, rather than try to sell us some expensive coating process.  I don't think there was anything intentional here, just hapless management of a customer order.  I hope that my experience is not typical.  I would recommend them from a price and product perspective, but if you cherish customer service, you may want to try another company.

I HAVE WORKED WITH ECONOMY GLASS IN THE PAST AND WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR PRICE AND SERVICE. SO WHEN I APPROACHED THEM WITH THIS UNUSUAL PROJECT, A VERY LARGE ANTIQUE MIRROR THAT NEEDED REPAIR. I FELT COMFORTABLE IN HANDING IT OVER TO THEM. WHEN THE MIRROR WAS NOT COMPLETED BY THE DEADLINE, THE WOMAN AT ECONOMY GLASS SAID SHE WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THE FIRST ATTEMPT AND HAD SENT THE PROJECT BACK TO THE SUBCONTRACTOR WITH HER COMMENTS. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY HER INITIATIVE, AND I ALSO WAS PLEASED WITH THE FINAL PROJECT. ONE MINOR FLAW: THE COMPANY DID NOT INITIATE PHONE CALLS TO KEEP ME UPDATED DURING THE PROJECT. BUT WHEN I CONTACTED THEM AND LEFT A VOICE MAIL, THEY RESPONDED THE SAME DAY (THIS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES).

THEIR OFFICE STAFF NEEDS TO CATCH UP WITH THE QUALITY OF THE INSTALLERS AND SALES TEAMS. IT WAS LIKE PULLING TEETH TO GET SOMEONE FROM THE OFFICE STAFF TO RETURN CALLS HOWEVER THE SALES TEAM AND INSTALLERS WERE GREAT
