We had to have it done on a Sunday. It took the technician an hour to install. He put in a sump pump you can buy at Menards for $119.00. He charged us $930.00! I call that price gouging.

Had problems from the start. First the drain was flooding the floor when the sump pump drained, they put in a check valve.Then shower leaked into the basement. They came out and re-grouted, thought problem was solved. Aren't usually in basement when shower is in use, found shower was still leaking when a waste basket was placed under shower area and found it filling with water. Contacted Eric Vesel and he came out and said it's no longer under warranty.

"[Member Name Removed] hired Vesel Services, LLC (DBA Vesel Contractors) back on April 9th, 2013 for a bathroom remodel. Our first phone call to the office by the homeowner was on August 5, 2016 at that time the homeowner requested that we come look at the shower due to a leak. Vesel Contractors obliged to find no leak with homeowner present. We did not receive another call from the homeowner until November of 2018 when the homeowner said her shower was leaking. Vesel Contractors went back out to look for a leak that the homeowner stated is from the shower. We agreed to come back on November 28, 2018 at that time to install a new gasket for the shower drain with letting her know we are not a plumbing company and she may need to contact a plumber. We allowed water to run for 30 minutes and re-checked the basement and there were no leaks, [Member Name Removed] homeowner verified). She insisted that since we remodeled the bathroom, we needed to fix it. In the meantime, the homeowner took it upon herself to remove the tile in the shower. Vesel Contractors follows state regulations and codes per the State of Wisconsin and the project was warrantied for one year after completion. The remodel project is now out of warranty and we advised the homeowner that we can come to repair the bathroom to her satisfaction but it will be under a new contracted price. The BBB has consulted with us and let us know that we are legally not held responsible due to the warranty is expired."

Had old garage torn down and new 3+ car garage built. Included removal of old foundation/slab and pouring of new slab. The owner (Eric) was easy to work with and things went generally well. My main issues were with workmanship - lots of exposed nails/staples due to framers missing the studs when putting on the sheathing, windows not evenly spaced, warped service door, poor alignment of downspouts. The framers didn't put up Tyvek on one side of the building (ran out?). When the siding crew showed up, they put siding up anyway. I bought these to Eric's attention and most were fixed. Since it's a garage, I let a few things slide. A few weeks after completion, we had some heavy rains. Both garage doors and the service had water leaking in. I emailed Eric twice about this, but received no response. Guess they didn't like me questioning their workmanship. I had kitchen/bathroom remodeling projects coming up. If things had gone better, I probably would have given them more business. After the lack of response, would not hire them again.

Flashing on calling was preformed. I tried calling to set up appointment to get the rest done. Called no response. Emailed no response. I finally had to call the bbb to get an answer and was accused of being difficult and not letting them preform the work. I was called twice and was told I’m coming today. I work during the day and didn’t have anyone to let them in. I tried to set up an appointment to have someone to meet them. Don’t sign a contract with these people.

"Vesel Contractors was hired to do a roof repair that caused a leak in her bathroom. Vesel Contractors repaired the roof and we had no issues until our drywaller and electrician were scheduled to go out to the home to repair the ceiling from the roof leak. The homeowner understood that they needed to get into the home to repair the damage from the roof leak. The homeowner was notified each time that we needed to get in the home."

Out of three estimates, Vesel's was the lowest. Eric was sensitive to my need to keep costs low; he made suggestions about ways I could save money as well as areas where it would be best not to cut corners (e.g., flooring). He also was the only contractor who made sure my existing structural issues were taken care of correctly before the work began so that I would not end up having to tear down any walls once the job was done. The project took just shy of 4 weeks. I was very happy with the Vesel crew as well as those he subcontracted with. My basement looks great. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the job, let alone with the cost.

Eric came out for the inspection and quote and what he said finally made sense. He had a plan for eliminating our ice damming problem. I had gotten other quotes but liked Eric's solution and his product. We also decided to equip the gutters with leaf guards.
The project included tearing off the existing roofs of our house and our detached garage. The job took longer than expected due to the need to replace most of the decking on the garage roof.
The crew was efficient and respectful of our neighbors and us and cleaned up everyday.
I would use them again (hopefully not on this house).

two hours late.
no roof repairs were done although some are needed. some caulking of nails was done. although problems were described, no photos were provided and no summary plan drafted. vesel recommends new roof due to age of 18yrs. vessel provided a quote for roof replacement.
I am no better off than before his visit although $119 poorer. eric was very pleasant and professional. total time spent at my house was about 1/2 hr.

"We were at there house and spend about one hr and we did resealing of the flashing I explained to him that if I was to replace the flashing it would do more harm then good. We also talked about the condition of there roof and its in need of replacement. In the near future."

I called Eric on Saturday August 9 in the morning. He said that he could stop out in a couple of hours. He came out to my house and inspected the garage roof. He quoted me a price that was quite a bit lower than any other company I had called. I told him that regular shingles would be fine, but he said that at the price he quoted he could put on dimensional shingles to match the house. He stated that they were doing a job less than a half mile away and that he could get the job done on Monday August 11. He said that he would send a couple of workers over in the morning and when they finished the other job there would be a few more coming over. Between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, he had 2 of his workers at the house starting the job. A few hours later, there were another 3 or 4 workers there to help finish up the job. When they were done they policed the yard to make sure that there were no shingles, nails or garbage left laying around. They also had a magnetic roller that they used to pick up any nails that might have gone astray. At approximately 2:30 Eric came by to have me sign the contract and take care of the bill. He said that the guys only had a little bit more to do and they would be done. The job took about 5 1/2 hours total. Eric is very professional and we had a couple conversations that were not work related. I would not hesitate in calling him again to have more work done by him.

I have a little back trouble and did not want to climb the roof, after some high wind damage in the Bohner's Lake area. I saw the ad on Angie's list for a roof inspection for $99. I was very impressed that the roof was inspected and repaired for a total of $99 and I was not preyed upon for further costs. This is an honest company to work with.

overall the inspoection went well. only issue was he never proffered a quote on the work I wanted performed and never heard back from him?? ... I would definetly hire him but apparently doesn't need the work. Nice, trustworthy guy.

They have great customer service. He provided the inspection quickly and efficiently but was willing to stay and answer all of our questions. He was honest and did not try to sell us services or products that we did not need. It was great to get the inspection, but it was really all of the helpful information that was the best part of the service.

Overall it went well. Never having had a roof replaced before, I had no point of reference for quality/cost/or expectation of results. Eric is an honest contractor and works well with you to select the right roof, shingles, gutters, optional services, and works with your schedule for doing the job. The job was moved up in the schedule due to other customer cancellations, so the work was done well ahead of what we expected. The work crew was diligent to lay down plywood to avoid the trailer causing damage to the grass next to the driveway. The work progressed well and done with good attention to detail with good materials. Joe led the crew well and work was completed before the rains came. The roof and gutters look great and we have many compliments on the finished product. The areas for improvement include better estimating of total costs at the beginning of the process. We were quoted for tearing off 2 layers of shingles, but 3 layers were discovered and that tacked on $650 extra at the end of the job that wasn't anticipated. There were a lot nails found in the yard and driveway after the job was completed, so we requested another pass with the nail rake to pick up all the loose nails that we kept finding everywhere.
So, if you are in need of a roof replacement or roof maintenance, I would definitely call Eric Vesel to quote your job, and if you decide to hire his team, you can be sure they will act in a professional manner at your home or business and put a nice roof on your building.

The provider inspected our roof for $119. He found that we need a new
roof and gave me an estimate of $7500 plus cost of replacing any plywood
that was bad. I felt that wasn't a bad price, currently getting
multiple estimates and gathering information.

Eric was very thorough and knowledgable in his inspection. He definitely knew what he was talking about...I was very pleased with the service so far. He may be back to redo the roof, I'm getting a couple other estimates.

Originally met company/owner at NARI home show prior winter. Of the (3) quotes we obtained his was the lowest & included the most services. Owner/Eric was prompt with quote and very willing to answer our clarifying questions. Before signing contract we satisfactorily contacted (3) provided references. Because we couldn't decide on siding/trim color Eric was kind enough leave us w/ siding, trim & roof swatches so we could have decorator stop by match these best mixed/varied colored brick home. Weather caused a couple delays - but we understood that weather is a key factor with any outdoor project. Owner and workers were very friendly and willing to provide answer or explanation of how or why they were doing something. Most of our project updates were from Eric. Project site was always cleaned up at night. Any requests/questions we had were promptly addressed. He provided such great service and we are so happy with our completed garage & drive that when all was said and done it felt like a win-win situation for both of us. We would definitely use Vesel Services again.

I was very impressed with their service and professionalism. The crew came on time, worked hard and steady to get the entire job completed within the time frame that was negotiated. They cleaned up the job site and there was nothing left for me to do. I would use this company anytime in the future. I was overjoyed that is was so easy to work with this company. I was able to speak right to the owner and all my questions and concerns were addressed and answered in a professional manner before the job ever started. This is my go to company for anything in the future!
