About us

Formed in 1965, by brothers Bob and Bill Zoulek, Mid City Plumbing & Heating has grown into a highly respected mechanical firm in Southeastern Wisconsin. Bob’s three sons, Pete, Joe and Tom are all managers and oversee their respective areas of the company. Mid City is a full service plumbing and heating contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, and residential mechanical design, construction, and service. We also operate and maintain a complete underground sewer and water division. With over 35 years of experience we are able to perform service work quickly, cost effectively, and with quality workmanship that is second to none in the industry. Mid City is a completely union shop with members from Plumbers Local 75 and Sheet Metal Workers Local 18. We also maintain active membership in various organizations such as: the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Master Plumbers Association of Wisconsin (PHCC-MPAWI), Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors – National Association (PHCC-NA), Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association (PMC), Better Business Bureau, and the Butler Area Chamber of Commerce. Mid City’s management has been past presidents and/or directors of several of these organizations. Our Vice President currently sits on the State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce Plumbing Advisory Code Council, which develops and reviews state plumbing code.

Great experience. Professional, knowledgeable, helpful. Called and explained my leaky shower drain problem and everything I had done so far, which was quite a bit (took down cabinets, cut open the ceiling, got the lower slip nut off, etc.). Bill is as honest and nice as the come. I was ready to throw in the towel and he told me that I had about 5 minutes of work left. He didn't want to charge me an hourly rate when I was so close to finished and for something he thought I could do myself. He sold me what I needed, made sure I understood what needed to be done, gave me some helpful tips, installed everything and he was right! Used the shower, checked all fittings, dry as a bone! Couldn't be happier with Mid City Plumbing and Heating!

It went very well. We've used their services for at least 20 years. We're very satisfied. They usually send the same plumber which is nice because they know your house and you get to know them. They're really reliable. They go out of their way to accommodate you like if there would be an emergency, they would be here in a reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend them.
