I HAVE USED DORSHAK IN MY PRESENT HOME MANY TIMES OVER 9 YEARS. SOME OF THE TREES NEEDING TO COME DOWN WERE DIFFICULT TO ACCESS, BECAUSE THEY HAD GROWN INTO POWER LINES. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, CAME ON TIME, CLEANED UP WELL, AND WERE VERY COURTEOUS.

THEY DIDN'T RETURN MY CALL SO I CALLED THEM AGAIN. WHEN I CALLED THE PERSON ON THE PHONE WAS VERY RUDE AND I TOLD THEM THAT I WANTED TO BE HOME WHEN THEY CAME. HE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST A WEEK. ALL OF A SUDDEN SOMEONE LEAVES A CARD IN MY MAIL BOX THAT SAID, "I DON'T KNOW WHICH TREE TO LOOK AT". THEY GAVE ME ESTIMATES FOR TREES THAT I DIDN'T WANT ANYTHING DONE TO. THEY DISREGARDED MY REQUEST TO BE HOME.

"I THINK THE MEMBER MADE A MISTAKE. IF THEY'RE SAYING WE DIDN'T ESTIMATE THE RIGHT TREES, WHY DID THEY SAY WE DID THE TREE WORK AS LISTED ABOVE? WE GAVE THEM A FREE ESTIMATE. THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A MIX-UP OR MISCOMMUNICATION SOMEWHERE CONCERNING THE MEMBER WANTING TO BE HOME WHEN WE GIVE THE ESTIMATE. I APOLOGIZE IF WE MADE AN ERROR. THE ESTIMATOR SIMPLY LEFT A NOTE SAYING HE WASN'T SURE WHICH TREES THE MEMBER WANTED DONE AND LEFT AN ESTIMATE FOR RECOMMENDED WORK."

I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT I WANTED THE WOOD CUT INTO FIREPLACE LENGTH SO WE COULD USE THEM FOR OUR FIREPLACE AND THEY COMPLIED. THE DAY THE TREE WAS CUT DOWN THERE WERE 4 GUYS AND THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE LOOSE BRANCHES ETC. THEY DID ACCIDENTALLY PULL DOWN MY PHONE LINE, BUT GOT IN TOUCH WITH THE PHONE COMPANY AND IT WAS REPAIRED LATER THAT DAY. THEY ALSO GROUND OUT THE STUMP AND EVEN DID ONE EXTRA THAT I WAS NOT QUOTED FOR. THE PRICE WAS A LOT CHEAPER THAN OTHER COMPANIES.

MYRON DORSHAK WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. HE DID THE ESTIMATE WITHOUT ME THERE, SO I DID NOT NEED TO TAKE TIME OFF OF WORK. THEY CALLED AHEAD OF TIME TO SCHEDULE THE WORK. THEY DID THE WORK ON TIME, AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY ALSO DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP THE MESS FROM TAKING DOWN THE TREES AND GRINDING THE STUMPS. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

OVERALL I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDED. I GOT AN ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK IN JULY 2001, BUT DIDN''T GET THE WORK DONE UNTIL APRIL 2002. NOT ONLY DID THEY HONOR THE QUOTE FROM JULY, THEY GAVE ME THE WINTER RATE WHICH WAS $75.00 CHEAPER. MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS WITH PUNCTUALITY. THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO ARRIVE AT 8:30 AM BUT DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL 10:30AM.

WE WERE HAPPY WITH HOW QUICKLY WE WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT AND GET SERVICE, AND THE SERVICE WAS FINE. THE ONLY THING THAT IRRITATED US IS THAT THE WORKERS APPARENTLY SMOKED ON THE JOB AND THEN THREW THEIR CIGARETTE BUTTS IN OUR YARD. KIND OF SURPRISING, SINCE THESE PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP CUSTOMERS IMPROVE THE APPEARANCE OF THEIR PROPERTY!
