T Huemann Well & Pump

Chris is exceptional. Had some issues with my pressure tank, unfortunately also during this historic cold spell. Talked with Chris on the phone and he listened to everything I said, and responded to all my questions. Very patient. When the cold made it unable for him to come out on the day we anticipated, he personally called me back that evening to schedule a time for the next day and was there on the dot. Very specific with everything that was going on and needed to be replaced, and was done in under an hour. Top notch service and quality. Highly recommend.

Christopher, who owns the water treatment portion of the business, showed up exactly on time and was very professional, knowledgeable (with 16 years experience) and personable.  He explained that shocking the well would temporarily cause the well water to turn a dark color.  He recommended doing it when we did not need to use the water for 24 hours and that he would drain the water outside, 24 hours after shocking the well, so as to not have our tubs and sinks get discolored.  He did the work exactly when he said he would and called to let me know the work was completed.  

When we got back to our home the water no longer had the sulphur smell.  The next day I noticed that the Water Rite pressurizer was constantly cycling on and off.  I called Christopher early on a Saturday morning (their normal hours are M-F) and he returned my call within 30 minutes. He said he would be at our home by 12:30pm (he had a prior service call to complete first) and again showed up on time.  It turned out that the check valve in the well had completely seized up and needed to be replaced.  This was a two man job as all the piping (over 80 feet) and the well pump needed to be pulled out of the well.  He had an extra person at our house within the hour and they replaced the check valve very quickly  (he even showed me the old valve and how it had seized up).

His bill for replacing the check valve was very reasonable in my opinion and I was relieved to have water again with no smell and no further problems.  I would highly recommend Christopher and T. Huemann Well and Pump.

Scheduling was easy. We were told what to expect after the treatment. The serviceman came on time. He was very courteous. Our pump what cycling too rapidly He found that our tank had lost gas. He refilled it and explained the function of the system to us and showed us how to check the pressure and how to refill the tank if needed. His instruction on our system was invaluable.
