Excellent. They were early got right to work used a unique moving system and great care. Mel helped figure out the best placement for the hot tub in the new location and adjusted it until we were all satisfied. All of this in 2 hours and 15 minutes. They were pleasant and professional.

When we arrived in the Quad Cities. We had jobs, but no place to live. We had only a few days before the moving truck would arrive behind us with all of our things. Once we found a place to rent, the moving truck showed the next day, but without a ramp to unload everything. The ramp finally showed days later in just enough time to have the family (who came to town specifically to help us unload) help us unload for 20 minutes before they had to leave to go home. We were stuck and frustrated.As I contemplated moving our heaviest items into the 2-story house we had just rented (with only my pregnant wife and our 1-year-old being the only people I knew in town), I knew we needed help. Mel was a life-saver. He called me back within 30 minutes of me leaving a message, assessed our needs and decided to shift personell around on jobs so he could assist us personally. The next day Mel showed up with another employee and proceeded to unload the whole truck in record time. THey unloaded items into specific rooms throughout our house and didn't shy away from the large and heavy items. They did all of this in high heat and humidity and with a cheerful spirit and a good dose of humor.We had a wonderful experience with Mel's Movers and will happily hire them again any time we need their services.

Had to get it down into the basement and get it set up on its legs. They did a great job. Very friendly and professional.I will definitely use Mel again for any moving job that may come along.

the most professional, well mannered, hard working young men in the Quad Cities! The 2 gentleman arrived about 15 minutes early and introduced themselves and asked how they could be of assistance. We gave them a quick walk through what we needed moved and they asked several questions to make sure they did things just how we would like them to. We have a 4 bedroom house with a living room & a family room and these gentleman had everything moved into the moving truck, delivered to our new home, and unloaded within 3 hours!! Amazing! They asked us exactly where we wanted each piece of furniture to go so we didnt have to move it after they left and assembled all items perfectly. We literally didnt lift a finger! I HIGHLY recommend using this company for any moving needs you have. You wont find a better value or a better team to assist you in a move. We are extremely impressed and extremely pleased with the service we received.

My mom had to move on very short notice, so Mel reworked his schedule for us to move my mom the very next day. He was there w/ three of his guys right when he said he'd be there. The guys were all careful, efficient, friendly, and hard-working. They moved my mom's things in a matter of hours. A+ for Melsmovers!

They even set up the TV for me and I didn't even ask him to. They were very friendly and they stuck to their quote that they gave me over the phone

Mel and an employee arrived promptly on time. They asked a few questions about what was going and staying, took a quick inventory of the items and made a game plan. They worked quickly and efficiently. Our items were very quickly moved from inside the house to the moving truck. The way they packed everything in there like a puzzle was awesome! They were very careful with fragile items. They made my move so much easier. I will definitely use them again!
