Cutting Edge Lawn Care

Over the summer and while I was away the front lawn (an acre) of our home grew out of control to around 18 inches.  My husband and our very nice neighbor decided they would tackle it by just hacking it down in one p[a**.  Needless to say the mess that occurred was devastating.  Huge heavy clumps of dead grass that would not be lifted by my rider and big patches of grass dying underneath the hot, wet masses of irregularly mown grass.  I had to call in the professionals.
 I tucked into the job going through the Ethernet to find a company who could repair the damage, being put off by the electronic answers and suspicious sales talk, when I came across Cutting Edge (JEL Enterprises LLC)  in Burlington WI.  An actual human being answered my call, refreshing to say the least.  I explained my problem and sent photos of the lawns via email.  We set upon a price and she asked if I would be at my home to give them a check when they came at 6:30 a.m.  on June 12.  Realizing they had made a special appointment for me I readily agreed.
The day before they were due to come I spent 9 hours weed eating and hand trimming around all my 70 young and old,  trees large and small and under my huge Norway pinesso there would be no ?nicking of them?.  I readied everything so all they would have to do was to mow and vacuum.
The next morning I arose at 5 a.m. to do all my chores before they arrived so I could be available for questions.  At 7 a.m. I called the office to ask why they had neither called me nor arrived and I got a machine.
When I called back at 7:30 I got Lisa, the owner, who told me they couldn?t come because of problems they were having.  When I expressed my upset for not having been notified (wet grass clumps start killing anything underneath immediately) Lisa did something that doesn?t happen in business very often.  She took responsibility and apologized.  Then she went to work on getting her crew to my home by a little after 11 that same day.
They did an excellent job of following my instructions except for a piece of the lawn where I had wild flower plantings.  I had told them to please not cut the tall plantings down and I think they thought I meant not to cut around them at all even though there were huge clumps of cut, dead grass there also.
Bottom line when I emailed the company with my concern and asked if they were coming back to finish Lisa DID IT AGAIN!  She took responsibility along with her supervisor Ross (who came back personally!) and cleaned up the rest of the job.
So the point is:  Even though we had a rocky start and some bumpy patches in the beginning (because no business is perfect) this company took personal  responsibility for my satisfaction every step of the way.  This is a rare commodity in this new world and one that rates the highest recommendation of any list.  Thank you Cutting Edge (JEL Enterprises LLC) in Burlington, WI., you are truly the best! 
p.s. Please do NOT confuse this company with ?A? Cutting Edge which is a completely different company in the same town.
