The exhaust pipe going from the manifold to the Catalytic Converter on my 94 Buick detached and the noise was unbearable. Seemed like a simple fix to me but all of the repair facilities I contacted said that, because of the age and condition, the entire exhaust would have to be replaced to the tune of $500-600. I wasn't interested in sticking that kind of money into a 16 year old vehicle. I checked Angie's List and saw some positive reviews for Thomas Auto Works. I called Thomas Auto Works and they were confident they could repair the exhaust and the cost would be under $100. I dropped the car off that morning and the repair was completed by the afternoon. They fabricated a small section of pipe that was welded in place - problem solved! Very satisfied with the entire process, including the price.

It went great. I dropped the car off the day before, and by noon the next day, I got the call that it was done. For about $100 I was back on the road with a quiet car, as opposed to a $1000 replacement bill. I've gone to Mike for other repairs and preventative maintenance, and the work is always well done and reasonable in price. He is a mechanic I can trust, and I appreciate that.
