BEWARE!!! I would give them '0' stars if I could. had two members of their team come to help us move. The majority of the furniture they packed ended upi with damage and they were totally unresponsive or caring to our concerns about their movers and the damage. I raised concerns shortly after they began packing about one worker’s condition, the lack of using plastic wrap (which you had promised would be used on everything) and improper packing technique /skill (many of the moving blankets were used on the floor of the POD). Jay, the 'owner' brushed me off /ignored my concerns and told me everything would be fine. He said you would call and talk to the workers and told me, “they were professionals having moved many homes without issues or damage”. When we unpacked the POD to move into our new house, we found considerable damage due to improper packing, inadequate padding /protection and the absence of plastic wrap to numerous pieces of our furniture, especially our chairs. Some of the details follow: 1. Round Table – Master Bedroom --- outer band broken due to lack of padding /protection from ribbing inside the POD 2. Brown chair – Living Room --- wear mark through ‘leather’ due to absence of plastic wrap and lack of padding /protection 3. Brown Foot /Storage Stool – Family Room --- Damage to ‘leather’ due to absence of plastic wrap and lack of padding /protection 4. Leather chairs (6) – Dining Room --- Damage to leather and ‘permanent’ indents in cushions due to absence of plastic wrap and lack of padding /protection 5. Dresser – Master Bedroom --- Rub marks through paint, especially on front right top, due to lack of padding /protection 6. Table Top & Legs – Dining Room --- numerous scratches through finish due to absence of plastic wrap 7. White/Black Chair – Master Bedroom --- ‘Permanent’ indent due to lack of padding /protection 8. Teal Chair – Bedroom --- ‘Permanent’ indent due to lack of padding /protection 9. Couch – Living Room --- Dirty/Damage due to due to absence of plastic wrap and lack of padding /protection I emailed SpeedyMen about the damage and have been 'ghosted' and not heard anything from them.

they were an hour and a half late did not use blankets or other padding totally broke an expensive kitchen table and futon and scratched up and gauged up rest of expensive furniture lost items and broke storage containers did not tell me they broke anything took bed apart and did not put back together left stuff laying in old apartment and hallways very unprofessional and unfriendly sat in parking lot for 10 minutes smoking even though they were an hour and a half late and company does not want to reinburse me for damages would never recommend them then the two movers were arguing not getting along and were not working together just warning people to not use them

Initially the move was scheduled for a Friday between 2 and 5 pm. I did not receive a call until right around 5pm to inform me the move was not happening Friday night due to unforeseen issues with an earlier move. They scheduled our move the next morning between 8-9am, received a call from the movers at 8:15 saying they were coming at 9ish. They showed at 9:10am. Once they were there, the movers were very fast, they packed our stuff really quick and had us moved under the 2 hours that were quoted. As for the stuff I had moved...one of the pulls on my dresser was broken, and there were wear marks on a few pieces of furniture from where they obviously strapped down the furniture too tight. They even wrapped the furniture with plastic and damage still occurred. If it wasn't for the snafu with the schedule and the minor damage to my stuff I would have given them a higher rating. The two guys that showed up were great guys and were very professional. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for, if you aren't overly concerned with the type of furniture you have, these guys are great. Keep your schedule flexible if you use these guys and you should be good. The prices cannot be beat.

The movers was very gentle with my antique furniture and my mattress was very important to me. I was so happy and impressed on the quality of the team workmanship.

I knew right from the start that this was not going to go well. They showed up in an unmarked truck, which was way too small for the amount of furniture I had although I had given them the dimensions of everything in advance. The movers did not know how to tighten the straps on the truck so they would tighten around the furniture, so I had to show them myself. I had to stay with them every second to try to make sure they would not damage anything, but pretty much everything got destroyed anyway. There are huge gouges in the wood. They had to use my own dolly to accommodate my piano because they did not have the proper equipment themselves. I had to help them get the piano out of the house because they had no idea how. They kept piling things into the truck so that the furniture would rub against each other and it chipped and scratched the finish on the piano and it ruined several parts of my china cabinet. They dragged and dropped a heavy TV armoire on the ramp to the truck because they did not have enough physical strength to pick it up. They tried to take pictures of the damage they had done during the move so they could try to claim that it was in that condition before the move started. One of the movers needed to run a personal errand, which he did with my furniture in the truck. I had to wait almost an hour for them to arrive. When they finally got to the storage unit, they spread out the pieces with no organization and they left the piano on my dolly so that I could not get it off. I chose this company because the price was reasonable, and they were able to come in a short amount of time. I was in contact with Jay Smith three times with major concerns before they even had the truck loaded. He kept asking me if they had left my house yet. After telling him about all the damage that was done, he kept insisting that I paid him the remaining balance of $239. I kept asking over and over to speak with someone who is higher up the chain of command than him, and he would not give me any information for their corporate office in Milwaukee. I needed information on getting an insurance claim started for the damages, and he said that he would be in charge of all that. He said it would take 2-3 weeks for someone to come out to assess the damage and possibly fix it on-site, only if I paid him the $239 I owed. In order to pay that remaining balance, I would have had to sign off on a release form which would free him of any liability for the damage, which I would not do. There is no way it could be fixed on-site, because of the severity of the damage to the wood. He kept defending his workers saying that had been with him for months with no complaints. Their website makes it appear that they are a large company serving many states, based out of Milwaukee with branches in cities like Nashville, where I am located. The phone number they have listed from Milwaukee is nothing but a cell phone number for Jay Smith, so I can't even say for certain that they are a large company at all. An armoire that cost me $3700 and the top of a china cabinet which cost me $4800 and a dresser that cost $2500 are all total losses. I don't see any way that even a professional carpenter could repair them. The piano may be salvageable, but it would need to be done in a shop by an expert. Jay has not given me any information on who to contact in regards to an insurance claim. Any number you dial that is related to this company will only reach Jay.
