I was unable to use my sewing machine in spite of moving the bobbin tension to it's lowest setting. We took the machine to Sew N Save and they loosened an internal screw to restore the bobbin tension adjustment back to its normal range. We were under a time constraint because of a previous appointment and were willing to leave the machine there but they performed the correction immediately. In addition, they refused to accept any payment in spite of our offer because the job was "so simple". We couldn't have received any better service and certainly feel that the entire experience was "excellent".

I brought my sewing machine in to Sew 'N Save to have the needle alignment checked and to check on rattling which indicated to me that something was loose, plus it was time for routine servicing. When I brought the machine in, it had these issues but the tension was perfect and the needle threader worked fine. After I picked up the machine and used it, the tension was way off, ruining a piece I was working on. The machine tended to jam, leaving a large and unattractive wad of thread which is almost impossible to remove. The needle threader, which worked perfectly when I brought it in, no longer works.

They did a beautiful job of making my old machine as good as new. Everyone there was friendly; and even though they sell sewing machines, at no time did they try to sell me a new machine, which I greatly appreciated.

Owner was extremely knowledgeable about my old sewing machine. She even knew the pros and cons of this model (for instance it doesn't handle thick denim or knits very well).
