Description of Work: I paid for the roof inspection package with the idea that I would have someone from the company evaluate a small leak in one area of the roof. After purchasing the inspection package, I heard from the office very quickly and informed them I wanted to have a leak evaluated. I was informed someone would be contacting me about setting up an appointment. A week went by and I didn't hear anything. The sales rep randomly came one day I was not home with no prior notification, calls me, and says the roof looks great. When I asked about the leak and repair, the rep sounded like it was the first time he heard about it. He told me it would cost about $2000 to fix the leak because it would take two or three trips out to my home and "leaks are tough." I called two other roofing companies and received estimates in the $300-700 range. $490 later, my roof is no longer leaking. Save your "roof inspection" money for another company.

We here at Over the Top Roofing and Construction strive to provide our customers with quality service in a timely manner. Unfortunately some jobs require more attention than originally planned and because of this I was delayed in getting back to you. I kept you informed of this and even came out on a Sunday to complete necessary repair. Repair was supposed to be just 2 missing shingles however once on the roof I noticed that there was actually a section of loose shingles that I re-sealed without any additional charge. Description of Work: They called me gave me quote I called to set up to HS e my roof done and they never called me back very unprofessional. I used Checkered Flag Roofing they went over and above expectations and did it for a very competitive cost and I have a large roof.

We are sorry for the misunderstanding that has occurred. According to our records, the customer stated she only had 80% of the funds available to fund the project, but needed to move quickly due to insurance company pressure. Our sales manager, Tom, negotiated with the owner of Over the Top that we make a one-time exception to help this customer with 0% in-house financing for 6-8 months on the 20%. When Tom presented the options to the member, she was happy with the arrangement. She stated that when the 80% was available, she would be in contact to sign the proposal, pay the 80% up-front, and schedule a convenient time for us to start. Many phone calls were placed to the member after this satisfactory agreement, but we have not heard back until this rating on Angie’s List. Again, we are sorry for the frustration of the member, but were unaware of any problems.

Description of Work: New roof and gutters. Flashing around chimney re-done. Old roof vents replaced with one long roof vent across the whole roof. Over the Top came in with a team and had the roof done within a half day. Gutters done 2 days later. Workers did a very good job keeping everything clean; very efficient! We had a small issue with the gutter guard and a couple roof shingles.We contacted the roofing company and they came out and fixed it pretty quickly. Description of Work: Removed the old roofing and gutters. Installed a new roof with flashing, gutters, and ice shield. Provided roof vents for bathrooms and kitchen. Discovered two pipes in attic and extended them above roof (I have no idea what they are for, but they probably run inside of walls to basement, which has a spline ceiling tile system and I'm not ready to replace that). |The tear off and new installations were done in a day. The gutters were done the next day. Cleanup was excellent. |During the winter a downspout separated from the gutters. I called to ask about getting the gutter man back. In a day the work was done. |This is one of the most pleasant construction appearances I have ever had.
