I think it went really well. From meeting with Tom the first time to go over what needed to be done on the roof, he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with it. There are a lot of guys on the team so they were able to get the roof done in 3 hours so it was really fast. They didn't charge me for some of the things they could have and didn't hound me to pay them either. They gave me a couple weeks after the roof was done to make sure I was happy with it and it wasn't leaking anymore. Originally I had the roof replaced because it was leaking water into my house and destroyed the drywall. I just really appreciated that they did the work and then didn't constantly pressure me to pay them off right away. There were rotten boards on the roof as well and they only partially charged me for that which gave me a break on the price, and the chimney flashing they put in they only charged me for the cost of the materials which was great as well. I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting to get their roof done because they actually stand behind what they say and don't BS you into paying way more than what was bargained for. They were on time, got the job done right and was just a good experience in general.

Dave facilitated the plan for replacing the roof and gutters. He offered many details about components of the re-roofing that were not part of the original roof. He explained all clearly. He and his team kept in constant touch as weather dictated changing dates. His team returned for touch-ups. We love the look of the new roof.

Their quote was exactly what they said it was going to be; it was not more. They got everything done that I had asked them to do. The only thing that was negative about them was that it took them probably two more months after the time they said the work would be completed. They got delayed before they came out and started the work; it was supposed to start in September but it started in November.

Job was completed in one day. Crew was professional. House and shrubs were protected from debris and no damage occured. When complete they even picked up my neighbors yards. Excellent job.

The roof started leaking shortly after the original work had been done and I told them about it and they didn’t think there was a problem. It fell in so they HAD to come back out. I had to do a lot of pushing to get this fixed. Now it’s fixed and it's beautiful.

They have everything turned out perfect. The clean up was nice and they were in and out my house in one day.

We called for a quote for a new roof on my mom's house. They came out to her house, took some measurements, created a quote, came to our house to review the quote and to choose shingle colors. About 3 week later they went to tear off the old roof, remove the chimney and take down the old gutters. They patched the roof where the chimney was, put on 6 feet of ice barrier, put on new shingles and gutters. They worked very quickly and cleaned up all materials. Was happy with the service and work.

Brad was my contact OTTRC. He was professional and provided me an estimate with options in case I wasn't able to afford all of it at one time. What I really liked is that he emailed me several times to see if I had made a decision. That kind of follow-up will help keep OTTRC growing!

I saw the ratings that this company received on Angie's list. I was very impressed from start to finish. From the moment I got the estimate to the clean up!

I called for an estimate on a re-roof of our home. The design is simple and there is not much of a pitch to the roof. It wasn't long before they were able to get someone to come out and give us an estimate. James came out and climbed up on the roof. Out of the four estimates we had, he was only one of the two that actually picked out that the flashing for our home would be difficult to get to and discussed the options. It added to the cost to do it right and I think that the lower bids that I received were planning on just keeping the same flashing in place. He was very personable and went over what would need done in the through manner without boring someone like me who had heard the same thing before again and again. The quote took a few days longer than expected but once it was done they e-mailed it to me then called me to make sure I got it and ensure that if I had any questions they were answered. They were one of the higher bids on our roof mostly due to travel expenses for such a small project but also wanting to do the job correctly the first time. Even though I did not go with this company I was glad they were able to come out and quote on my project.

The crew was efficient . They said it would take a half day and it did. They were polite and cleaned the area well.

Over the Top Roofing & Construction are outstanding. They had the best prices and they did a great job. They did what they said they'd do, which is, to some degree, unfortunately uncommon sometimes. They did the job in one day. They didn't leave a mess around the yard. There were a piece here and there, but you've got to expect that, considering they're doing an entire roof. They were very polite, in terms of just how they talk to you. They didn't seem fake. They were around your house but were aware you still had a life to live, so they tried to, to the best of their ability, kind of give you your privacy.

Before I begin I will note that the summer was quite mild in terms of the type of weather that would present a good test for the quality of work that was performed on my roof. With that said it has been approximately 9 months with the new roof and so far I am happy with the workmanship. The work was started and finished when promised and there were no surprises. Considering my roof is fairly large and the amount of green around the house the work area was cleaned up very well of construction material. The only unsatisfactory thing that occurred was that there were scrapes and small nicks left on the drive when the refuge container was removed; something that a couple more sheets of wood would have prevented. Other than the drive the overall experience was quite good.

In a review writtin in November of 2012 I described how Over The Top Roofing recommended that we replace our skylight at the time they were doing a reroofing job for us in approximately 2007. The roof was being replaced due to hail damage. We agreed. The skylight started to leak in 2012. If you read the previous review, you will find we ultimately had to enlist the service of another company to find that the skylight had originally been installed improperly and it was a fairly easy fix. The current owever of Over The Top Roofing, Richard Ihnen recently called us to explain that he was unaware of the problems we experienced and after reading the review on Angie's List he did look into it. He indicated that Dave Mathias was given inaccurate information from the Velux skylight vendor he was working with and did not deliberately mislead us. Richard Ihnen apologized for the inconvenience we experienced, the inaccurate information we received and the unprofessional behavior of Dave. He also reimbursed us for the cost of having the window properly installed.

They arrived on time, finished their work and cleaned up afterward.

Very well - it was done in about 3 hours and when called to take care of an area of concern, they were out the next morning, as promised.

The company came out promptly to get us an estimate and it went well. The options were clearly described and my many questions were answered. They said that the job would be completed in a single day. To our surprise and satisfaction, they removed and replaced both the house and shed roofs the same day. We requested and paid for the Owens Corning 130 MPH wind warranty. I had to remind the workers to use six nails since this is required for the warranty. The foreman left for a major part of the job, which was a concern, but the job was done very well nonetheless. Our roof OSB was in great condition but a sheet of our shed OSB was rotten. They replaced it without any additional cost. The trash bin remained for a couple of days after the job was complete. Due to the delay in picking up the trash bin, we gave them a 'B' for responsiveness. They did the work for exactly the quoted amount. They cleaned up the area afterward and they did a very nice job on the roof. We would definitely consider them again if we needed a roof replaced and we would recommend this company to our friends and family for similar work. The Owens Corning Oakridge shingles are highly rated by Consumer Reports, the shingles have a great warranty, and the roof looks beautiful.

The salesman did not tell me that the workmen would be a few hours late because he had scheduled them for another job first. The workers did an outstanding job, worked very quickly and cleaned up very well after they completed the job. I have had a lot of work done on my home and I have never been more satisfied with a job as I have been with them.Wish I could have had them do other jobs for me. They were outstanding!!!

They were polite, informative, & responsive. They also followed up with us, which I appreciated. They were second lowest bidder - We just decided to go with the lower price.

The quality of the work was excellent. Everything looks good. The roof was all done in one day. The soffits / facia took another two. My issues were primarily with the gutter work. I expected that work to be completed immediately following the soffits/facia but it took an additional week to get the gutters completed. There was apparently a miscommunication between this company and the one they sub-contract with for the gutters but I wasn't told that until Dave came for a final inspection and payment. I had set up a meeting with Dave earlier and again due to a mis-communication he never showed. At one point I tried calling and his voice mailbox was full. Of course it hadn't rained all summer until I decided to do this work and then it started to rain - with no gutters. Thankfully, I didn't end up with any water damage to the house but it was frustrating. The gutters were eventually put on and they also are good - a lot easier to clean out as they are seamless.

They were very prompt, kept the yard clean without any damage and responded to all requests. They came back and took care of one minor issue and invited calls if there were any further issues. I have never been more pleased with a contractor previously. I would use them again in a heart beat. They did the roof in one day, the chimney in four days and the gutters in one day. All their workmen were very good people and very responsive.
