Heather Scott Designs Inc

After talking about remodeling our kitchen and sun porch for 12 years and not knowing how to proceed, a friend recommended that I look at her kitchen and talk to her Designer, Heather Scott. We had previously taken on three other remodeling projects and were disappointed with the process. From our first meeting, through the construction completion, Heather was involved and in control. We met several times to discuss my vision, to discuss construction concerns and talk about budget. Before we proceeded too far, Heather asked a general contractor, Mark Bunker, to come and look at the existing sun room so that we could determine, in advance, whether we could use the existing foundation or had to build a new one. Anticipating this as a potential problem, we were made aware of necessary costs well in advance. After it was determined that we did need to build a new foundation, there was a question with support beams and an architect was called in for a review. For a designer to look at the entire construction package rather than just the aesthetics, was amazing. She provided a complete look at the project and the potential costs involved and didn't just focus on how nice she could make our kitchen look. This was all done in addition to providing a wonderful design with perfect finishes. The end results are beyond my expectations. The kitchen and addition are beautiful and functional. The basement addition with full bath are also fabulous. The improvements that were made fit our lifestyle and complete our home. I would use Heather again and will always recommend Heather Scott Designs.
