Outstanding! This company successfully did what three other contractors said could not be done!! Not only did they successfully tooth in missing floor boards, but also build a transition between floors of different heights. They took great pains to hand scrape areas under radiators and other areas that were previously neglected by previous floor re-finishers, so the entire floor looks brand new. This was accomplished at a very reasonable cost, compared to several other contractor bids. I would not hesitate to hire Durable Wood Floors again or recommend them to others. They are as professional and proficient as they come. Thank you, Austin.

Brandon did an excellent job refinishing our hardwood floors. He explained the work he was doing each day and took his time on the floors. Mary (in the office) was also very prompt to respond to our communication.

We were very satisfied with the work performed. The young man who performed the service (Paul) was prompt and very attentive to our questions and concerns. Our floors are like new. Everything was cleaned up after the job was completed. Mary, the person who was our office contact was also a very good listener and reassuring with our initial questions. the topper was that Austin (owner) actually came after the job was done to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. This company is concerned with quality and integrity. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

From start to finish we had a great experience with Durable Wood Floors. The initial online estimate process on their website was quick and efficient. From our first contact with Mary, she was responsive to our questions and made scheduling a breeze. The first day of work, Kyle, Pat and Alex showed up on time and ready to work. Throughout the process they kept us updated on the timeline and cleaned up at the end of the day. They were professional and a wealth of information on the process. They allowed us time to evaluate and decide on stain color and provided some appreciated input based on their experience. One of the most important things I noticed, was they all seem to take true pride in their work. You can tell in the finished product they are true craftsman who enjoy what they do. During the process, any issues that came up, which with any project like this would be expected, were handed quickly and professionally. Finally, the floors look brand new and give the house a whole new character. Overall our experience with Durable Wood Floors was fantastic. We would use them in the future without question!

Austin is truly awesome!!! He was in constant communication with me throughout the entire process which honestly made it that much easier for me given that I was unable to be present for much of the time. I received just about daily pictures with progress from Austin (granted at my request) but nonetheless, he came through with my request. His communication and level of professionalism in combination with the quote was what helped me decide to proceed with Durable Hardwood Floors. Morever, I came across the Durable Hardwood Floor instagram account and I was amazed at the level of quality provided by this company. I liked the fact that before and after images/videos were provided on their instagram account. Other contractors did not really have before and after images, let alone videos of the process. One of the contractors wanted to charge me $3000 for water popping alone which I thought was odd and which significantly would have added to my grand total, making it close to about $15K. Other contractors' pricing was comparable to Durable Hardwood Floors, but as I say above, it was a combination of factors that made it easy for me to decide to go with Austin and his company in the end. I have no regrets whatsoever, and in fact, glad that I went with Austin. I would certainly hire Durable Hardwood Floors again!! Lastly, do NOT let Austin's young age fool you. He is hardworking, mature, and very professional, most importantly, is very knowledgeable!!

Our experience with Austin, Mary, Joe, Alex, Pat, Kyle and the folks at Durable Wood Floors LLC was excellent. Two guys came out and finished the new hardwood install in 3 days. Four guys showed up and completely puttied (we had nail holes from carpet tack strip) and completely sanded the wood in 1 day. Lastly, three guys took 2 days to stain and seal the floors, with drying breaks in between. I was able to be home during the whole process and enjoyed their responsiveness to my suggestions and questions about the process. They took care of all the small details, including getting all the trash into my can at the end. At one point, one worker made an errant cut for our stair nosing and left a small gap showing. We didn't think it was quality enough, so he drove 60 minutes round trip to get another piece and cut it bigger. It turned out looking great! I trust that these guys are trying to deliver a quality product, and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable with the process. I'd recommend giving them a try.

The darker stain is beautiful! Our floors are red oak, and were very outdated and the stain applied is a rich medium/dark brown. Completely changed the look and feel of the rooms that were redone. I would recommend them to anyone! The quality is phenomenal and exactly how we wanted it to look!

The installation process went well. The owner and his crew showed up on time every day (including a Saturday), were very polite and respectful, and most importantly were meticulous with the installation. They cleaned up very nicely after themselves every day which was also an important thing for us as we have small children at home. Our red oak floors look wonderful and we are very happy that we decided to get them installed.

When we closed on our new home, the floors were in terrible condition and it was not a small job to take on (~2,700 square feet). We knew we had to find a professional to take care of the job but we wanted to find someone who was affordable, good at communicating, and quick. After comparing numerous companies, Durable Wood Floors came in with the best quote and Austin seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. He was extremely prompt to answer ALL the questions I had along the way, and did a great job of explaining the process from start to finish. Every day, he checked in to let us know where they were currently at in the process and let us know what they would be doing the following day. The communication aspect of this company is AMAZING! The team working on our house were incredibly hard working and paid attention to even the smallest detail. They were quick, but their work did not seem like it was a "rush job". Austin even went so far as to give us recommendations on other reputable companies to use for the remodel projects in the home we bought. Now that the project is complete, I can say without a doubt that we made the right choice going with Austin and his team. Our floors are wonderful, there are no flaws, and they did a great job of patching the damaged areas so that you couldn't tell they were even fixed in the first place. I would 110% recommend this company to anyone who needs their floors redone. Austin goes above and beyond to make sure you are aware of all costs, informed of the process, and pleased with the finished project.

We hired Durable Wood Floors to refinish our maple hardwood floors and they are beautiful! They gave us many color options until we found one we liked. The team that worked at our house were both professional and courteous. I would recommend them to everyone I know and have gotten numerous compliments on the floor. When I called Durable Wood Floors I also mentioned I need to have our home painted before they could finish the floors and they recommended we use ZP Construction. That was one of the best decisions I made. They coordinated everything between themselves and did a beautiful job. All I had to do was hand them keys and come back when it was completed. I am having ZP Construction do other jobs in my home as well. Thank you for making my home a lovely place to live.

We had an amazing experience with Durable Wood Floors. The team was there with us every step of the way answering my questions and explaining everything so I knew what the process was. Every team member was extremely kind and helpful. They spent a lot of time with me coming up with the perfect custom color so it was exactly what I wanted. I had a very specific vision in mind and they helped me to achieve that without trying to rush me in any way. I really appreciate their patience and willingness to make sure the floors were exactly what I wanted. Additionally, the job took longer than they expected and there was no increase in cost (the finish on the floors was very difficult to get off, and you wouldnt be able to tell that until you started sanding them down). They just did whatever they had to in order to get the job done. Our floors look BEAUTIFUL and I am very impressed with the job the team did. I would highly recommend Durable Wood Floors and will absolutely use them again!!

Austin and his Crew from Durable Wood Floors did an amazing job on our floors.  We needed the floors done on our rental unit before the next renter could move in and they were great at getting everything scheduled and finished on time. The floors had many years of carpet and pet stains and abuse and he made them beautiful again. They were punctual, did not damage anything or make a mess.  Austin was in touch with us every step of the way before and during the job and we couldn?t be happier.  I would definitely recommend them!

From the beginning of the process with trying to find a company to work with, Austin (the owner) took the time to answer all of our questions regarding the process of sanding, staining, choosing a stain color, the difference with finishes (epoxy) even before we signed the contract. We had multiple calls just to answer some questions and he always took the time to answer them, he is very knowledgeable. Once the contract was signed and the job started we were in constant contact with the team and provided updates and pictures throughout the job. There were a few areas where the existing hardwood wood would not take well with the stain, and Austin stood behind and came back out to fix it and touch ups. We have and would again recommend Durable Wood Floors to our family and friends!

Excellent. No edges or corners were missed, even sanding through out. All previous dark spots or stains were removed in the process.

Austin was a pleasure to work with and very professional throughout the entire process. He took time to explain his company's processes and materials, as well as answering any questions we had. The crew was on-time, focused, and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had through the duration of the project. There could be improvements made to job site cleanliness, as we had lights left on where we couldn't walk, a few spots of stain left on the walls, and our garbage can was completely filled up. Overall the work looks great, and we are very pleased with the outcome. We would definitely recommend Durable Wood Floors to others looking for refinishing services.
