Tina Cotton saved my bacon!! I owe this woman big time. My dress arrived from NY 8 days before the wedding and was 1 inch too small through the rib cage. In the process of trying it on, the zipper came off the track and was stuck in such a way that the dress could not be worn. Basically, every bride's nightmare. I called Tina on Friday and we scheduled an appointment on Saturday. She wasn't thrown by the challenges (she has something like 20 years of experience in altering wedding dresses) and she instantly made me feel calm and confident. She completed the work by Tuesday and every detail was perfect. She had made all of the adjustments we'd discussed and the dress (finally!) fit like it was made for me. In this "crisis" situation, she could have charged me essentially whatever she wanted, but her fees were very reasonable, which I deeply appreciated. She pretty much only works on wedding dresses (though I believe she occasionally does mother of the bride and bridesmaids' dresses), so she's not the right person for all types of alterations, but if you need a wedding dress altered, you need Tina!

The price she is charging is very reasonable. More importantly she is very personable. She has had years of experience. She is a very nice person. I would recommend her to anybody.

I would highly recommend Tina's services. I contacted Tina via phone and left a message for her. She promptly called me back the same afternoon. I scheduled an appointment and took my bridesmaid dress to her location. She was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the type of material that my dress was made of. She also recommended an additional alteration that she believed would make the dress fit better. I agreed with her recommendation and had her make the original alterations that I needed. On the date we agreed upon for pick-up, she had me re-try on the dress to make sure the alterations had been done correctly and no other changes needed to be made. Overall, I was very pleased with her work and will definitely use her services again in the future.

I made an appointment with her over the phone, showed up at the specified time, and then she had me try on the dress to pin it up. She quoted me a price for the alterations and making the wrap. I returned 2 weeks later to pick up the dress and wrap and it was perfect!

Wonderful! Tina did a beautiful job with my dress. I bought it in NYC and was unable to go back for alterations due to my work schedule. They were going to charge me $600. Found Tina on Angie's List. Called her and she was able to meet with me right away. She added a modesty panel to the front (v neck was a bit low), hemmed dress and added a bustle. Did it all in within a week. She is extremely professional, very reasonable, and a real pleasure to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend her. I also used her to alter an old bridesmaid dress to make it more of a cocktail dress - she did a great job on that as well.

Tina was able to meet with me in less than a week of my call. I met her for the appointment and wow, was she nice! She was very professional, described her experience, and I knew I was in the right hands. She took only 1 week to get all 3 pieces of clothing completed to my full satisfaction.

Tina was recommended by the store where I purchased the dress. All I asked her to do was add the hooks, but she also shortened the lining, which makes the dress much easier to walk in, and slightly altered the bodice to improve the fit. She even went so far as to use her daughter's nail polish on the hooks so they would match the fabric, even though these hooks are in the back and under a bow. I really appreciate her going the extra mile. Tina is friendly and enthusiastic about her work. Her sewing is neat and professional and done in a timely fashion. I highly recommend her for all your alteration needs.

Extremely personable seamstress. Prices are quite reasonable. Turnaround time for me was two weeks. She specializes in formal alterations.

Tina's work is AMAZING and reasonably priced. She EXCEEDED my expectations. I'm getting married in less than 2 weeks and she was called on a Sunday --- met me 2 hours later and had the dress completed (fit perfect) by Tuesday afternoon! Her work was flawless!
