we started with the orginal contractor who was great very professional gave us 7 pages of references and cookies when we got the quote. signed the contract and waited almost 2 weeks until I called to find out when the job was going to start. Jeff came out the next monday to look over the backyard. that is when I found out he was a sub-contractor. when he was done looking things over and stating that he wasn't sure if he had enough dirt to back fill the patio he started complaining how far of a drive it was for him. So he left stating he would be back the next morning but didn't state what time. the next morning he was back between 6:30 and 7:00am. He did ring the doorbell I just saw someone in my backyard and heard their equipment. he had 2 other guys with him. and It seemed like jeff really didn't want to be there because one of the other guys answered all of my questions. I had asked how long the project would take and was told the would be done by 3pm. I was home the whole time and around 1:30 pm I went outside because I didn't hear any more noise. to my suprise they had left with out saying anything. I looked over the job and they left all the nails they used for the forms in the yard for either my 2 year old to find or for me to run over with the lawn mower. I walked to the back yard and found that the dirt and sod they dug up they pushed back into the remaining yard. so I now have anywhere from 5' to 15' from the edge on the patio dirt and sod. when they were contacted to see if they intended to come back and finish the job I was told "just take a tiller to it and re-seed". I can see the stone base that the put down in many area's. not to mention I am a disabled veteran and told them that I have had 2 neck surgeries in the last year and a half. It has been 3 weeks now and I still haven't heard back from them. I recommend not to use this contractor at all!

It took him about two weeks to contact us. He came out the first day and started work. He came back the second day to pour the concrete. He did a great job. He was supposed to come back within a week and seal the concrete, but I have to hear from him and it has been two weeks.

Jeff was difficult to get a hold of from time to time and was hampered by weather problems. The project took a long time to complete. He is friendly and applied a coating which is really exceptional.

I SIGNED UP IN FEBRUARY AND WAS TOLD WORK WOULD BE DONE IN SPRING. WHEN I HAD NOT HEARD BY JUNE, I CALLED, AND HAD TO CALL REPEATEDLY, BEFORE I GOT A CALL BACK. WHEN HE CALLED, HE WOULD GIVE ME TENTATIVE DATES AND NOT SHOW UP. WHEN HE FINALLY CAME, HE NOTICED A CRACK AS HE WAS TAKING OFF THE OLD STEPS, HE HAD NOT NOTICED IT IN THE PAST, AND SAID THE JOB WOULD BE MORE THAT HE THOUGHT BY $1600. SINCE OUR STOOP WAS HALF OFF, WE HAD NO CHOICE, BUT TO CONTINUE. IT TOOK HIM 3 WEEKS, TO COMPLETE THE JOB TOTALLY. HE KEPT PROMISING TO COME BACK ON A GIVEN DAY AND DID NOT. I FOUND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE VERY FRUSTRATING.
