Carriage Cleaners

On October 18tth - After seeing an alterations sign in the window I brought a jacket in that needed the waist band elastic fabric replaced. Was told they could send it out to their alterations person but we would have to pay for a dry cleaning which it didn't need, but it made sense to sew a clean jacket. They told us it would be ready October 30 or would call if done sooner. Went to the store the first week of November and was told the jacket wasn't there and in the interim the seamstress they used quit. They said they would have the jacket back within 5 days unrepaired. Picked up jacket on Nov. 15 and I asked if I was going to be charged full price for the cleaning and was told yes. I explained that I was never called and told that the seamstress quit and did I want to wait or just pick up the jacket and try somewhere else, therefore as a sign of good faith a break in the price would be appreciated. There was no response by the clerk. I paid for the cleaning and left with my unrepaired jacket.
