Brookfield Vacuum Cleaners

I love Brookfield Vacuum Center! I dumped the old Dyson that my husband and I both hated (hose broke in 4 places in 1 year) and bought a Simplicity Premiere (for upstairs) first and loved it so much I went back after 1 year and purchased a Simplicity cordless (bright red - your choice of colors - that says, "Look Ma, No Hands" right on it . . . How can you not love that???!!!!) and a Simplicity Sport small canister (so easy to strap on and use with attachments for everything the cordless can't do). The cordless is the best vacuum I have ever used and makes cleaning floors a snap (1/2 the time of any other vacuum I have ever had). David is a great salesperson: He doesn't waste your time with a bunch of sales lingo, he just tells you like it is. These people know vacuums inside out. They buy in volume and get a discount and pass it along to their customers with pricing cheaper than on-line. Plus they offer a service plan at no extra charge - they annually inspect your cleaner and change the bag. My Simplicity Premiere that I have had for 2 years went in for a servicing and they told me that they replaced the hose (even though I didn't see anything wrong with it) because it "wasn't quite right"). I could not be happier. Save yourself time (with cleaning) and money and visit Brookfield Vacuum Center - tell them Nancy Fritz referred you.

It was the electric cord retractor which is a part from the manufacturer. Well, rather than toss it, we fixed it. The major cost was for the parts. Labor was a reasonable hourly rate. The calls were timely. I will look to buy my next vac from this place.

Brookfield Vacuum tried everything they could to make it work, but our ductwork wasn't right for the installation of a central vacuum system. They recommended a canister vacuum to fit my needs. I am very pleased with the kindness, care and attention to my needs that they exhibited at every step of this process.

Great...thought it was a obstructed or separated tubing. Brookfield Vacuum rep Brian was very knowledgeable about the different vac systems and quickly and efficiently solved the matter. While I was diligent about changing and cleaning the vac system, it appeared there was a hidden filter that I had failed to clean. It was not clear in the manual that it was a part of the maintenance program. He had it operating perfectly in about a quarter of the time I thought it was going to take. Works like new! Highly recommended to use Brookfield Vacuum for any vac needs!

Our Dyson Animal vacuum is several years old and wasn't working very well. I replaced a couple parts that needed to go but didn't help much. Brookfield Vaccuum Cleaners recommended a thorough cleaning. The work was done in a couple days. I wouldn't say it's like new but it certainly works much better than before.

I brought the vacuum in on Saturday (1/18/14) told them what the problem was and asked that the HEPA filter be changed. They called on Thursday (1/23/14) and told us it needed two filters, a belt and a cleaning and that it would cost $50.00. We told them to go ahead with the repairs. Everything was fixed and it looked like a new machine! As soon as I got home, I tried it out and it did a great job! We would definitely use them again.

They do excellent work and saved me the cost of a new vacuum cleaner. I had tried to clean the vacuum myself but could not find the problem even though I just about took the whole thing apart. They had it ready to pick up w/in a couple of days.

I called ahead, made a date to drop off my vacuum, they had the parts waiting and I picked it up the same day.

Very knowledgable. Sold me a great upgraded central vacuum unit to replace our older unit. Prompt and professional installation.

I hated Brookfield Vacuum Cleaners. They were terrible. I could not un-recommend them to people enough. It took them 5 days just to look at the vacuum and figure it out. They said they would call by day 3. On day 3 we called them as they were closing. We had to keep calling them. Again they said they would call us when it was done. It was not ready when they said it would be ready. We took possession of the vacuum, put it in the closet. When we pulled it out 2 days later, not only did it not work, it would not turn on. They were very rude when we took it back and they charged us another 120 dollars. I would not use them again.

I found this store on Angie's List, so I thought I'd give it a try. I was not disappointed. They were incredibly friendly, fast, and the price was great. Quite a bit less expensive than what I would have paid at Sears. Plus, they finished it in 2 hours! Highly recommend.

I called several other stores and was told that the solution would cost over $90 and would take over a week to fix, since the stores would need to ship the vacuum cleaner to Chicago to be fixed there. However, Brookfield Vacuum Cleaners said they could fix it on the spot, without a wait or an appointment. It took less than 10 minutes from the time I entered the store until my vacuum cleaner was fixed and back in my car. All that for less than $11!! Incidentally, while I was there, I noticed the store employees helping a elderly woman whose car had broken down near their store. Excellent service.

THE SALESMAN TOOK A GREAT DEAL OF TIME WITH ME TO EXPLAIN THE VARIOUS VACUUMS AND HELPED ME FIND ONE FOR MY VERY SPECIFIC NEEDS (MY VERY LONG HAIR AND 5 ANIMALS IN THE HOUSE).
