BEST REMODELING

Another company had to repair the problems. They were not responsive to the problems and I had to find someone else as they never sent out a tech.

We found out that there was a tax rebate and he did not tell us about it. The total turned out to be much more than what he told us it would be. He did not put in a cedar vapor barrier which an inspector said he should have done. He did not do a good job on the flashing and water is coming down the fireplace. He has been very difficult to get ahold of and is not coming out when he said he would. He can be very sarcastic as well. We would not recommend this company.

My initial experience with Best Remodeling in June '07 went extremely well. So well in fact I talked with Brian about coming back to fix a crack in my ceiling. Brian told me that he would contact me in the fall. After not hearing from him, the last 2 weeks I called him 3 times and left a message each time. I never heard back from him. On my last attempt, I mentioned that if I did not hear back from him by 10/23, I would assume that either he is too busy or is no longer interested in doing the work we talked about in June. Apparently that is the case given I never received a call back from him. I am stating that I would not hire him again only because of his lack of responsiveness and professionalism by not returning my calls. If he did not want to do the job or if he is too busy, a 2 minute follow-up call letting me know this would have been appreciated and would have avoided this negative rating to his company. I was, however, very satisfied with the work he did in June.

It went very well. Providing I do not experience any problems with the work that was done (just had the work done a week ago), I am very pleased with the job. In fact, I was so pleased that I am receiving a quote on another job from Best Remodeling. Also the job site was cleaned up exceptionally well.

The project went as scheduled, no delays! My confidence is restored in hiring a contractor for future jobs.

Very neat. Called when delays due to weather (heat). Also, replaced down spout that was loose. Brought samples and made recommendations as to new roof color, etc. Very professional.
