Back in 2002 we had 6 of our original windows replaced with Preservation windows by a company called All About Windows & Siding, Inc owned by Rob Kuehl. We have been happy with our 6 Preservation windows so when we decided to do our remaining windows in 2015 it was obvious to use the same contractor and windows; however, I discovered Rob had retired and sold his business to Abby. Rob's company had been so awesome that I was hesitant to use someone new and voiced that concern to our sales guy, he passed my concern on to Abby who immediately contacted me and put all my concerns aside especially when I found out that Rob's employees had stayed on with Abby Windows.
Everything about the entire process was as it should be, they guys arrived on time, protected my furniture with sheets, installed the windows without incident, and showed me how to use them.
I had an issue come up with one of my Preservation windows from 2002 that was covered under warranty and Abby Windows took care of it for no charge even though I didn't buy it from her company.
I gave the pricing a "B" because I didn't get pricing from anywhere else so I have no price comparison and believe the overall price to be fair.
And lastly, if you are lucky enough to have Andy sent out on your install please know he is a man of very few words but he REALLY knows his stuff!
Thank You AAWS!!
The foam Rob used in very new. It is actually toxic for about two minutes requiring them to wear HEPA masks. He advised us to take our cats to a neighbors for the morning. Some of his associates claimed that the masks were not required but as I told him that is what asbestos workers were told 60 years ago. We both decided to error on the side of health. Within 4 hours we were back in our home and Rob and Andy were packed up and on to the next job. Very nice and very professional.
"Receiving positive customer reports like this one is the true reward I reap and enjoy and the basic reason for being in business for over 33 years by continuing to keep our customers satisfied. From the desk of the President of AAWS. Rob"
"Thanks for the kind words and supportive comments regarding our business practices. We still continue to strive for quality and timely instalation methods and to perfection by paying attention to the detail and customers needs without any hard pressure sales tactics and negative comments about other business. Thanks again. Rob Kuehl President"
"Reading a positive report like this one about our company is one of the true reasons why I personally have enjoyed being in business for 33 years. It is so rewarding for all of us here at AAWS to know that our efforts have not gone unnoticed to customers in making their dream remodeling projects completely satisfiable for them. We appreciate the kind words about our products and workmanship and design work that went into this project. Even though we did this work almost a year ago, they are still pleased with the outcome that they filed this report after all of this time. Thanks. Rob - President"
"We take personal pride in every aspect of my company regarding our reputation, workmanship, products sold and follow up service. It is difficult with a company of our size having 8 crews and 6 employees for us to be involved and screen every phone call coming into our call center. We try to do the best we can. We state “we are not for everybody” and simply cannot offer all of the different types and brands of products available. We refer potential customers to others if they are looking for wood windows. We do apologize for the lack of proper training of the temporary staff personnel that we hired to cover for our normal call center receptionist that was on vacation. The 22nd of August was the first day the temporary staff person started. The temporary person was given instructions to follow a script and fill in a questionnaire and to ask specific questions for us to make sure we have all the necessary information to be able to set up an appointment and to make sure we can help the caller. When the caller and her partner were told we only install vinyl windows, they responded, "they don’t want wood windows”, this really should have been the end of the potential lead and appointment. We didn’t feel the need to per sue setting up an appointment and calling back for any other inquiry for other types of work. The temporary staff person was only doing their job as instructed and should have no bearing on our normal business reputation and overall ratings. I was informed later that they were particularly irritated because we couldn't provide wood windows. Again, we are not for everybody. We only sell extremely more efficient vinyl windows that have lifetime guarantees and much higher U-factor efficiency ratings than wood windows. To our knowledge, it is not inappropriate or illegal to ask if both decision makers, if any can be present at the time of a product presentation and appointment, regardless of gender preferences. This is a well accepted and very well used business practice for most well established companies which try to save time, money and provide a convenience by having all decision makers present. This makes it more convenient to answer any design issues or questions without having to schedule a second visit to do a presentation twice. We accept their concerns and have taken them under advisement and will attempt to train any temporary help we hire better in the future. Per DILHR laws, we do not discriminate. By asking for all decision makers to be present at the time of the appointment has nothing to do with gender or having testicles as stated by the caller. We are sorry this was misinterpreted. Vicki Kuehl owns the business and makes all of the business decisions at AAWS. In closing, we continue to be proud of our excellent ratings we receive for our workmanship for the work we actually perform."

"It is always a pleasure and extremely rewarding to continue providing quality workmanship and being affordable for our many customers. It explains the reason why they keep calling us back. It is positive comments like this that give us the energy to continue keeping our customers satisfied. Thanks Rob (President)"
