He did show up relatively on time as agreed. He began by tearing up the walkway. Then, he began grade. He stopped after about an hour, stating that the big maple tree in our front yard had lots of roots and was an issue. He explained that he could cut it down and finish grading. I had considered removing the tree for various reasons beforehand, so we agreed on the price, I bought extra dirt and had it delivered (as he instructed). I spoke to Paul on the day before he was scheduled to finish, and all seemed a "go" for the next day. On arranged date to remove the tree and finish the job, no call and no show. He has left my calls and texts unanswered. I did pay him for the grading which I had to hire another company to finish. He left my yard a dirt pit with roots sticking up everywhere.Beware.
Description of Work: Paul Scott was hired to grade my front lawn. He was to level out an incline in the yard and push the dirt towards the house so we didn't have a reverse pitch. He was also instructed to tear up our old, cracked concrete walkway.
