This contractor has a substantial issue with their Say/Do ratio. Multiple times I was told 'we'll contact you on DATE' and I'd have to reach out a few days after that, and this was before the install even took place. This should have been a red flag. On the day of installation, they flashed the carpet at me, and in my excitement I didn't notice the color was not correct. We had ordered a light grey carpet, and the carpet installed was black and grey, a rather substantial difference. Luckily I noticed the vinyl flooring was wrong right away before they installed it, but the wrong carpet was then installed at my home, and the install was done poorly, with multiple areas where you could see the line where they had glued it together. They tried to say it was just a different batch of carpet, and their distributor wouldn't replace it for free, which I don't believe for a second. I guarantee they just flubbed when ordering, and that's why the distributor wouldn't cover it. No carpeting place would mistakenly send the wrong thing, and then make you pay for it. The owner, Wayne, was extremely rude to me via text message when I was just trying to get what was promised to me. Apparently it was my responsibility to ensure the carpet we were told we were getting was the carpet they were installing. Which is the most backwards things I've ever experienced when dealing with a contractor. I was going to let all this go, because after 45 more days they finally installed the correct flooring and carpet. I text Wayne on July 5th, 2021 to let him know of the puckering issue and the matting carpet, and he hasn't responded. So writing this review to ensure others don't have to deal with the same headache. It has now been 5 months since the install. The carpet they told me was high quality, and it's already matting down in high traffic areas. I can see a line where they glued carpet together, at the end of which it's puckering. $2500 later, we are now having to hire someone else to rip this out and install new carpet.
