DECORATIVE CONCRETE SYSTEMS

Something is definitely not right with this business. We canceled our signed estimate and down payment because the owner is very hard to get a hold of and does not return calls or emails. It's like you have to beg for them to contact you back in a prompt matter. His idea of getting back to you in a reasonable time seems to be on the order of a week or two. It took two weeks for Dave Lorenz to cantact me back after I left a few voicemails and an email. I figured he was out of business opr laid up with a medical problem since the website listed is defunct, and there was no response. So, I called the parent company (Bastian Concrete) in Appleton area and Mr Bastian was able to get ahold of Mr Lorenz who then sent me a contract and estimate without ever meeting with us. I sent him a check for 1/2 down, but then put a stop order on the check when he again stopped returning phone calls or emails. Also, their cement truck cracked our driveway when they came for the first job a few years ago. When we confronted them about it, they banded together and said the crack was there beforehand and wouldn't assume any responsibility for it. The only reason we went back to this company was that the quality of their product is good, and we wanted a good color and concrete stamp pattern match.
