I chose this installer over another because he was nice and spoke to me in a respectful way. Although his quote was $200 higher than another quote, he didn't treat me like a dumb single mother. He and his assistant showed up on time and installed everything. I explained to him that I was going out of town and he assured me everything was fine. When I arrived home on Sunday, the house was very hot. I could here a clicking noise, but no air coming out of the vents. I called the installer and he figured out it was the blower on the furnace. Instead of coming right away Sunday to replace it, he came Monday morning. He was on time and replaced the part in an hour. I went to work. When I came home from work (9 hours later), the blower was still running, but the cooling unit wasn't. The temperature in the house was 71 degrees yet the digital thermostat was set to 73 so it shouldn't have been running. I opened the thermostat and the setting was on ON instead of AUTO. The reason the blower went out is because the installer left the thermostat on ON instead of AUTO. When he finally sent me an invoice for the job 3 weeks later, I asked for a discount on the blower installation. If he would have switched the fan back to AUTO like he should have, I wouldn't have been paying for a new blower. He disagreed with me and took a whole $2 off the total bill and wouldn't budge. I DO NOT recommend him as he screwed up and wouldn't take responsibility. He mentioned not getting a lot of local business and being new so not having many references. I should have taken this as a clue to his lack of professionalism.
