They did a great job. They are local. Jim was really helpful. He told me exactly what I should do and why I should do it. They gave me a great deal of confidence that they were going to do the job right. They were very consultative. They're very credible people.

Thank you and here is your original review. Summer 2020 I had contacted Jim & Justine at Wholesale Insulation to provide me some pricing on putting insulation into our attic and roof area. I knew we needed to do something as we have been in the house for 21 years and this was never addressed. I ended up having 3 different companies out to bid and here is why I chose Jim and Justine. When I contacted them Justine was very accommodating and easy to work with on the phone. We set an appointment and I will tell you that promptness is important to me. For the inspection, and insulation day these two showed up 10 minutes early and ready to go. It didn’t take long for me to recognize this was the company to work with. Jim’s knowledge of insulation, the different types, and best practices quickly made them the front runner. Their overall knowledge of the building and construction trades gave me further confidence. He inspected our attic, and not only provided the lowest bid of the three companies, but also took the time to talk with us and tell us what we should do and why. He was much more thorough than the others, and seemed to be generally interested in making sure we did it right. I would easily recommend Jim and Justine of Wholesale Insulation to anyone in need of this type of work !"

The originally scheduled install date was pushed out twice, first due to a scheduling conflict on their end, and then due to materials availability - but they communicated/called well in advance each time. December is a busy month for both us & them, but they were able to accommodate us and do the install - the Sunday morning before Christmas no less!

Jim was absolutely wonderful, getting up in the attic on a really hot day, completing all the work in a short period of time, cleaning up completely and being just generally responsive and pleasant. Justine was a Godsend in getting the roofers connected up with Jim to resolve the whole issue of the bathroom and kitchen vent. They were responsive, pleasant, professional and cost was appropriate for work done. A+++ Would highly recommend.

Our condo association did attic inspections to check for ventilation issues. One of the units had a significant amount of mold but that's another story. During the inspection it was determined that we had only a few inches of blown in insulation (R5). The company that did the inspection gave us what I thought was a very high bid. I found Wholesale on Angie's List and Jim came out for a bid. He recommended going to an R50 on blown in, installing soffitt baffles, shortening and insulating bath fan vents, and insulating light fixtures that penetrate the attic with fireboxes. His bid was less than 1/3 of the company the association had brought out. Jim performed all the tasks - shortened and insulated 2 bath fan ducts, installed 8 baffles, installed 3 fireboxes, and then blew in 15" of insulation. It took about two hours start to finish. Our attic is somewhat small, maybe 25' x 10'. It's 5 degrees today and we can already notice a difference. He also spray foamed around the base of the chimney, plumbing stack, and insulated the attic access cover - this was included at no cost. Another thing that might seem minor - Jim was very meticulous about putting shoe covers on when he entered the house. He was in and out at least ten times and didn't track any salt, snow, ice, or anything in our home. He also put down a dropcloth underneath where the work was being performed so there was no mess. This showed that he cares about his work and values his customer's homes. Awesome service, great experience, would definitely use again.

Jim came to our home as scheduled to see the work to be done and gave a free written proposal. After we accepted, the job was quickly scheduled and completed as scheduled. Jim did the work himself and is a great guy to know. The whole process couldn't have gone better!!

Jim Leiner is consummate professional. He clearly knows his stuff and his quote was very reasonable for the amount of insulation and vents he installed. He was able to complete the work in less than 5 hours and did a great job, upstairs is significantly warmer than before. Jim also gave me great and detailed advice on doing some air sealing (which I wanted to do myself).

What a great honest experience. Not a pushy sales experience. This started with the phone call to Justine. Jim not only conducted an evaluation and talked about my concerns but kept budget in mind. He also talked and planned with me top priority and future projects. The professional and family like care that was taken continued from beginning to end. I have recommended them to many people cause they really treat you as family, something that is to often lost with larger companies.

Justine was delightful in setting up the estimate and appointment, very responsive via email. Jim was prompt (early, for which I was grateful) at both the estimate and job. We are very pleased with Jim's work and highly recommend him and his company. Jim is a pro. He is honest and hard-working. He speaks from the experience and knowledge gained from 35 years in the insulation business. He's one of those rare business people who listens, assesses, recommends only what you need, and charges a fair price for his work. We knew we needed additional insulation in our attic, but what we were more concerned about was the ventilation. He thoroughly checked it out, made some adjustments and assured us it was in good shape. He showed up when he said he would and was done in 3 hours. Prompt, efficient, honest and respectful at a fair price. What more do you need?

Jim was punctual for both the estimate and doing the work. He is personable, knowledgeable and helpful. He offered suggestions for additional (easy) ways I could seal my house on my own. Because he does the work himself, his overhead costs are lower than many providers - and EXTREMELY reasonable. (Why didn't I do this project a few years back???) Except that my house is SOOO much warmer, quieter and less drafty, I'd never have known he was there - all the cleanup was done when I got home. Jim and Justine are honest, hard-working folks who do a fabulous job!
