They did all of the leg work and even came back out when we scheduled time with our insurance agent.
Not only was our ENTIRE roof able to be replaced, but our gutters as well.
AND we were able to customize colors and increase the size of our downspouts at no additional cost :)

The roof is on and it doesn't leak. The people seemed just fine. It was pretty quick to make an appointment. They showed up when we were at work, did their thing and were gone when we got back. They were really quick.

We got 3 estimates and American Roofing was our middle priced one. We went with them because of the comfort we had talking to them, their availabiltity, and their knowledge. Our roof was falling apart in a unique way (shingles were peeling up, curling, disintegrating) and they explained to us that our roof (put on before we owned the house) had a shingle that was only in use for 5-10 years and then was discontinued because it was made so poorly. It had a cardboard center and original thought was this would be a cheaper way to make a shingle -- well was cheaper and performed cheaply. American Roofing said there was a class action suit about these shingles and we could look into it to recoup some of our roofing charges. They did the roof in a miraculous 2 days and cleaned up perfectly. Only complaint was the sawdust mess that was left in the basement. They were going to cover all our storage (we have a house-wide size attic) with tarps but in order to do that rearranged everything in the attic (which to this day, I'm still undoing). For some reason, even with the covers they used, sawdust and roof material got into a lot of our stuff. I wish I had known to protect my stuff more and we could have taken some additional precautions. American Roofing actually took $200 off our final price in response to the attic problem. That's IMPRESSIVE! Their protection and clean-up of the yard and all outside areas of the house was perfect.

The owner of the company worked with his crew throughout the entire process. All workers were very polite. The owner supplied references as requested. I received excellent reports on his previous jobs.

I AM SO HAPPY THAT A FRIEND RECOMMENDED JEFF MANNING AND AMERICAN ROOFING TO ME. HE WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, PUNCTUAL AND HIS CREW DID WONDERFUL WORK. IT TOOK JEFF AND HIS CREW TWO DAYS TO COMPLETE A VERY MESSY JOB AND THEY DID IT WITH FLYING COLORS. MY NEIGHBORS WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZED AT HOW NEAT AND EFFICIENT THEY WERE, RIGHT DOWN TO HAVING THE COMPLETELY FULL DUMPSTER REMOVED WITHIN 24 HRS OF THE JOB'S COMPLETION. AFTER A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ANOTHER ROOFING COMPANY, WORKING WITH JEFF AND HIS CREW WAS A JOY. THESE GUYS ARE TOP NOTCH.
