I have loved their service and friendliness, for years - even with the cats and my allergies, I simply don't stay long. Yesterday was a very different experience. Normally, the regular clerk, would respectfully take the cat off the counter...not THIS clerk ! When i asked kitty, sweetly, if she could please move so I could approach the counter and write out my fax...this clerk said " No...this cat lives here...that is so rude ". I was like, " What? No I am not able to use the counter with kitty sitting there - normally the other clerk will move the cat - is that a problem ? "
I suddenly felt embarrassed at her acussation...i wasn't rude to the cat and i'm not a rude person ! I turned around and filled out my fax paper at a back table, while she waited on another lady. After the customer left, I handed her my fax paper, which she snatched away from me, glaring at me like a criminal ! I told her that normally the other clerk would move kitty and that I wasn't being rude or unreasonable to need the counter, was I really ? ! She ignored me and handed me back the fax, I paid for that and for some lotion they were selling. When I left I kept thinking : What just happened here ? She really hurt my feelings...I will never give my hard earned $ to this business again !
