The tear down and tea rout actually went quite smooth. Once the contractor got here he was unable to do it the way originally specd. This created a 1 day delay because a retaining wall would need to be created to hold back the dirt and keep the land in place so the new garage would have the needed stability the old one did not. The builder got into an argument with one of the guys from the garage company. It was at this time I figured I might be in trouble because the garage builder would not pay the concrete contractor. Once the concrete contractor didn't get paid by the builder he proceeded to put a lean on my home. Once I received notification of this I contacted Andy at Midwest Garage and he assured me that this would be taken care of right away. The lean has now been in place for 30 days and I have not heard a word back from Midwest Garage or Andy.
