Bell Drywall

Mike showed up on time and completed the work in the time frame I would expect.  He was careful to try to keep dust contained to the kitchen and put down protective coverings on the floor leading in from the front door.

Later when I was painting I noticed some seams that weren't covered real well and other areas where excessive mud was not sanded down even with the surrounding areas.  It wasn't bad enough to call Mike back to fix (he said he would come back and fix anything we weren't happy with), but I was expecting better quality  from someone who does this for a living.

There were two things that were unacceptable.  One is that when cutting holes for the electrical outlets he roto-zipped all of the tabs off the receptacles and switches.  The other is that about a year later we removed a wall between the kitchen and living room and found the wall was stuffed full of all the drywall scraps.  Not only did I have to clean all of that out, but there was a considerable amount of weight sitting on top of the electrical wires in the wall.

I called for an estimate and Mike showed up the next morning.  We agreed on the price and scheduled the job for two business days later.  The job was done on time and to my satisfaction as per our agreement.  I am please with the work and would definitely hire this service again.

Mike was very friendly, professional and did a good job with the cleanup. We wanted him to touch up one thing and he was very willing to return and complete the job to our satisfaction. I would hire him again

First apt he missed...called after he was 20 min late to say he wasn't coming and set a new apt up for later and quot;if I even still wanted toand quot;. At the next apt he was in and out so fast I didn't even get to talk to him about the job. He just left saying I'll call you.

I didn't hear anything so long I thought I never would then a text came stating and quot;did you still want an estimate for that job?and quot; I said yes I did. The next day he just text a price and said cash only.
Altogether this whole experience left a LOT to be desired. I felt like i was incovenience for him. Will not hire this guy

It went excellent! He was on time, did a beautiful job, very neat/clean a very good guy and he kept me informed. He was a little pricy but the results were worth it.

He was great! Very professional, courteous, and down to earth. He also stayed on budget and worked with our schedules. Highly recommend!

I decided to go a different way with my project, but I would have used Mike otherwise. He was professional and gave me a quote right away. I also had friends that used him and really thought that he did an excellent job!

I was hesistant to spend the $ because I'll be moving soon; however, Mike Bell makes me proud of the decision to get the basement drywalled. I am writing the review prior to his finishing the job. Why? Because I've observed his work ethic for 1.5 weeks and I could not have dreamt of a better service provider. The quality of his work is superb, and he's neater than I am. Pleasant, professional

We did have some problems connecting, however, he never left a message at the phone numbers provided. He came on 10/8/13 and I showed him what needed to be done. We had a leak in the the roof that came into the kitchen ceiling, there is some discoloration, so I was concerned about mold. He told me he could just cover it with Kilz, I said I would rather have it removed, he said no problem. I showed him 2 other area's, he said no big deal, but the price would increase, I said I knew it would. I asked if he was available the following week, he said he just got a big job, how about Saturday. I said that would be great. He didn't give me a written estimate, but I trusted him. He told me we'll get it done, I'll call and set it up. Well, that was over a week ago and the phone hasn't rung, we're still waiting to hear from Mr. Bell. I gave him an A on punctuality, because he was here when he said he would be for the estimate. I gave him an A for the price, because I felt the estimate was a good price for the services I was asking to have done.
It's a shame we didn't hear from him, we may have used him in the future for some bigger jobs, had this worked out.

Responded promptly with phone calls and a quote. Extremely professional and work completed in a timely and efficient manner - at a very reasonable cost. Exceptional attention to cleanup. We found raw walls and ceiling behind wood paneling and wooden ceiling beams. No matter how many youtubes my husband watched, drywall was an adventure into a strange foreign land for him. Mike beautifully repaired my husband's attempts at drywall on the walls and ceiling, as well as other multiple large cracks. He went above and beyond expectations, and we are very pleased with his work. We wish we had called Mike a couple of years ago when this project was started!

Mike Bell was on time, courteous and professional.. He made sure there was no damage to my furniture or floors from his equipment and cleared everything away beautifully when he was done. I was very pleased with his work and would hire him again.

The only thing we had to do was buy the insulation. He installed an entire new ceiling and the insulation. It took him two or three days because he had to let it dry and come back. It turned out really nice.

Mike came out promptly, looked at the job, emailed and mailed an estimate the next day. Started within a week of acceptance.
Mike did all of the work himself (except for a helper to hang), no subcontractors, multi-crews, etc. Mike from start to finish. Hauled away all debris and cleaned up.

He is very professional and very fast. He leaves a very clean work area and when he is done, you can't tell that he has been here. He is in and out in no time at all. It is really nice to have someone like him. He is a handyman that works out of his house and drywall is his specialty. We are planning to call him again soon.
