I stopped by Maxfield's Topsoil on the recommendation of my neighbor and made sure I looked them up on the internet to confirm their business hours. When I stopped by (during their business hours) at 1:30 on a Tuesday (non-holiday) they had a Closed sign on their door. I also tried contacting them on their two business phones listed on their website and both lines were busy. A couple hours later I tried calling the number again and a voice mail message responded stating they were closed due to the weather. The skies were overcast but it was not raining and the weather had been overcast/raining all week. When I stopped by a couple days later to ask a few questions such as cost, quantities etc, I was told the buyer was responsible for bringing their own bags or buckets to haul their dirt and they were also responsible for filling their own bags/buckets. This information would have been helpful earlier (which was also not posted on their website) since it then required me to return home and hook up my trailer.
Description of Work: Provided dirt for growing veggies and herbs.
