I went to the store as soon as it opened (9:00 AM) and asked for same day delivery because our old unit had ceased working. They said that it would not be possible to do so, but could be done the following day. They did deliver and install the unit as promised and I have no complaints with that. I have been a long-time customer of Silica and will continue to do so because they are a local business.
My desire would have been to have a same-day delivery and set-up provided in these circumstances. One can do without a washer or drier for a day, but being without a refrigerator/freezer or a stand-alone freezer is much more inconvenient and, potentially, costly in terms of lost food.
