He came out and tore out the old roof and fully replaced it in one day. He showed up and 7 am and he was there until after 9 pm. Everything was wonderful. He was very polite and knew exactly what he was doing.

He is so incredibly kind. He goes above and beyond what is expected. He answered all my questions and took the time to make sure he was covering all the issues that needed to be addressed on my roof. I am really looking forward to the work he is going to complete for me! I will never forget him or Angie's List for the help they have provided for me.

needed leak repair on dormer area on roof. other companies wanted entire roof redone. greenwald found leak by dormer, plus nearby area (roof vent) that was leaking, and matched shingles and replaced them. kept me apprised of work being done. work was very meticulous, and so was slower than i expected, but everything was perfect when done.

ryan greenwald, a carpenter, was recommended by a friend, when we could not find a roofer who could fix our leaking roof. we have cathedral ceilings, and the 2 firms that finally came to the house to do an estimate were very vague about possible fixes. they wanted to pull drywall from the ceiling to check for leak. We called Ryan, he responded promptly, calling before arrival. had all of his own tools and ladders, which some local contractors don't seem to have. He showed us the leak on the peak of the roof (around some siding), showed us the improper caulking and resultant rotting wood. he gave us 2 repair options, with no pressure. he answers all questions completely, and gives you time estimate along with cost estimate. we had 2 roof peaks repaired, along with some ice shield and new roofing on garage and shed. he worked late because of pending rain storm. and--it worked. now when rain is forecast, i'm no longer freaking out about possible leaks. its done, and done right.
