My partner has dealt with it. I think our experience has been good. I wasn’t actually here when they came out and did everything. From what I’ve heard, it was a good experience. They did a thorough job. Our pest problem has been solved. They did good. They came straight away when they were called.

Julian has been coming to our house monthly for more than two years.   He is MARVELOUS.   So friendly, so professional.   He always goes the extra mile, pointing out if he notices something askew (once , our basement dehumidifier had stopped working and we didn't realize it; another time he noticed a hole in the mortar), and even dealing with a dead snake he had found on the property.   He calls to give us a heads-up the night before he'd like to come, and if that doesn't work for us, he  happily re-schedules.   He is very mindful of our concerns of placement and quantity of poisons with children and pets around.

I can recommend them. They are thorough. They are very agreeable to doing extra things when necessary. The staff has been excellent. I only had difficulty with one person and he no longer comes here. They were very responsive with that. I will continue to use them.

We live in an old stone house in the country. We found a dead rat in the basement, and immediately called APS. They came out quickly, did a thorough check of our home and property, made helpful recommendations (like moving bird feeders away from the house, keeping seed off the ground, creating a buffer between garden and house foundation) even before we signed on with them. They were respectful of our desire to use as few poisons as possible, and of our concern about keeping poisons away from children and pets. They set traps for both rats and mice (I think the initial visit was $100) and came out every two weeks to check traps and re-bate for a few times, until the rat problem was eliminated. They now return once/month, $65/visit, to clear and re-set traps, and to put poison in a few places. We'll continue to have them do so until we can resolve problems with the foundation that allow for rodent entry. They are kind and professional. They give a call the night before they come to make sure the timing works for us. We recommend them highly for those who need help controlling rodents.

They came every two months for several months, starting in the spring when I had no other luck dealing with an ant invasion (carpenter ants). I was reluctant to use a pest control service because of environmental hazards, but they were careful to tell me what products they were using and how to research them. Nothing else, of many other attempts, had worked, and so I hired them.

APS used insecticides inside and out to address the ants in 2 places in our home. I would have preferred they sprayed the house foundation more precisely- they sprayed right onto the back porch steps instead of around the steps base. Bottom line is that a few days after their treatment, we haven't had any ants in the kitchen again, although we have had a few return to the upstairs bathroom. Like other pest control services, APS will offer you the option of a one time treatment for a set price, or a lower cost initial visit with a contract for recurring visits. Their next visit will be soon, so I'm expecting they'll be able to address the remaining ants.

After the first year, they bent over backwards to remedy a complaint I made regarding one of their service staff. The remedy was extremely beneficial to us, and the service member I identified has not worked at our home again. When they lack expertise in managing a specific pest the company tells you and then works to gain that expertise.

They were very good and excellent. They were very prompt and they came and did the work. When I called them back they immediately set up an appointment.

We have been very pleased with the results. The ants were taken care of in the areas he treated with one treatment. We found a second infestation just before he came back for his next visit which he took care of. Between his services and following his recommendations, there has been a remarkable change and we have been very pleased with the results. We were very concerned with the use of pesticides and both our health and our cat's health (one of whom is elderly and ill.) He has been very respectful of our wishes in this regard, we all have remained healthy, and at the same time, his treatments have been effective. Mark will come back between appointments if there is a problem, he is courteous, helpful, prompt and very knowledgeable. And, if he doesn't know something, he'll find out. We highly recommend this company if there is a need for these type of services.
