Requested an estimate thru their website. Response was quick and appointment set. Day of appointment Jordan phoned 5 minutes past scheduled arrival time saying he was just leaving his last appointment asking if he could still come... 35 minutes or so late. I couldn't accommodate because of previous commitment. I told him I just needed the price to get the gutters installed so he could still come but I wouldn't be there. He decided not to. Said he would be in my area next day and would stop. He didn't. 4 or so days went by and I sent them an email thru their website asking when they might come. Good response as they called next day. They wanted me to be present when Jordan came. I explained I knew their product well and just needed the price for their gutter system on my garage. I'd kept my end and was there for the original appt. but they didn't. I'm a busy guy. I'm not doing it again. Just stop and leave me the estimate and I'll take it from there. They wouldn't do it. The gal on the phone said she'd have to have Jordan call me and hung up. Not a good exchange. Jordan called shortly after and promised to be out that afternoon and would leave me an estimate. This time he did what he said he would. I decided to go ahead with the work and emailed confirmation to Jordan. He quoted 3-4 weeks for the install. I mailed a check for 1/3 of the cost along with the signed acceptance of the estimate. I heard nothing but could see my check had cleared so I emailed Jordan at about 2 weeks to see if things were on track. He responded right away that they were. A few days later Lindus called with an installation date which was right at the 4 week mark. I couldn't be home for the installation but was assured that would be fine. I could send a check. They dropped materials the day before and sent me a text that they had done that. Next day late afternoon I received a text the work was completed. I came home to a bill in the door and gutters on the front looked great. I walked around to the back and oh,oh... problem! The gutter are brown but two of the elbows used were white. Also, the downspout was not hinged per the agreement. Because of the text telling me the work was complete and the bill in the door, I called Jordan and left a message. He quickly returned my call and said he had no idea what happened but would call me back when he could get answers. I was on my way to a Twins game so I told him calling the next morning would be fine. At 9 am (I was in the shower) my doorbell was ringing. By the time I got out and dried and dressed, Lindus had made the corrections and all appeared okay. The gentlemen doing the work (very friendly and pleasant) told me they had planned to come back that morning with the correct pieces. I suggested a note, phone call or some type of communication would have been a good thing so I knew what was going on. I gave him a check for payment in full and he left. About a week later when I was cutting the grass, I raised one of the hinged downspouts and tried to connect it to the plastic bracket that was there to hold it in place. Unfortunately this was not correctly installed. I reached out to Lindus again via their website and they had someone out to correct. Good service on their part and I appreciated the quick response. A note was left in the door telling me the repair was made. Stuff happens but it should have been done right in the first place. I think these guys are a good company with a good reputation and highly rated on Angie's List, but based on the appointment difficulties, the incorrect colored pieces originally installed (no communication) and bracket problem, I can't give them a higher rating.
Response from Midwest LeafGuard
"Thank you for taking the time to review our website. We're deeply sorry that your estimator was running late the day of the appointment and understand your why it could be difficult to wait an additional 35 minutes to meet with him. One of our favorite features about the LeafGuard Brand Gutter system is that is that homeowners have the ability to customize various aspects of it including color and downspout features. Discussing these features in person allows both parties to be on the same page regarding the work being performed. We're very sorry that you were promised a meeting the next day and that this did not happen. We're also sorry that you felt out of the loop with regards to corrections being made to your original install and understand that we could have improved upon this. Please know that we will use this information as a way to grow and learn. We apologize for the work that was not completed the first time but are pleased that the end result is something you are happy with."

They did a nice job on the install. The sales person was very good and not high pressure. They explained the different types of gutters being sold and showed me why theirs was the best. They went up on my roof and shot a video and explained what I had now and how their gutters would fix issues I had. It was not cheap but I believe I have gutters that will keep me off my roof forever now.

WOW!!! I am so impressed and appreciative of the exceptional level of customer service. I had leaf-guard gutters installed by Lindus Construction approximately 15 years ago. They were damaged during a terrible hail storm in 2013. I had my second set of gutters installed in 2014 and just as before Lindus Construction did a wonderful job. I absolutely love the fact that the gutters never clog and I never have to climb on the roof to clean them.

We share our home with a Wire Hair Fox Terrier. We love her to death; however, she does not come without the occasional challenge. Shortly after the new gutters were installed in 2014, our little maniac started to chew on the aluminum in her best attempt to get at a chipmunk. She might've seen one chipmunk one time 8 years ago near a downspout but that means she has a mission to seek and destroy. Thankfully, she has never actually caught one. In any event, I called YESTERDAY about 1:00pm to see if I could pay to have the elbows replaced. I told the person at Lindus there was no rush. When I arrived home at 5:30 pm, I found a note in the front step saying that the elbows had been replaced.

I would recommend this company and their product to anyone! Thank you so very much!

The contract pricing was 1/3 down at signing and the balance on completion. Our project entailed installing 137 feet of gutter and downspouts.total cost of $5708.00 ($41.67 ft) Actually this is not at all expensive if you realize with LeafGuard gutter you no longer have to put a ladder to the roof to clean gutters and take the risk of a falling from the roof, or falling with a slipping ladder. I estimate the lifetime cost of installation was less that the recurring risk cost of a just one ambulance call and emergency room visit if I slipped from the roof clean out the maple leaf seed pods! Tha actual installation took just 3 and 3/4 hours! I timed the work done on Sept 18: it started at 10:00 and completed at 1:45 pm, including final cleanup! A very polite three man work crew came out to my mother's house on Sept 18, 2015. They were extremely courteous and extremely willing to answer any question at all about any aspect of the installation process! Go LeafGuard!!

We live in a town home & our association gives us the vendors we can hire.  When the first installers came I mentioned the side walk was slanted & would need a longer down spout.  He thought it would be ok.  After a couple rain storms the water just streamed back towards the house.  We called & emailed Midwest LeafGuard / Lindus but had no response.
After a few days another installer who didn't seem very pleased showed up at our home without calling or emailing first.  It was a good thing we happened to be home.  I told him the situation & he actually used a level to see if the side walk was indeed slanted.  It was as I said!  He then installed the longer down spout.

We had a new roof put on in summer and you can't keep your warranty unless you have them come out and charge you a thousand dollars to take your gutters off and put them back. They were great and very helpful. They're not high pressure and very reachable. They did a fabulous work. We were extremely happy with them. They responded right away.

When we first started looking, they did the leafguard system. That ended up being too expensive, but they still had favorable rating in Angie’s List and had a more reasonable product. So, we went with the more reasonable product. When they came, we were not home and I only dealt with the sales person.

The service went fine. The company was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. I did have to call them back because they left holes in the siding where they moved the downspout from one side of the corner to the other. They came back and caulked them up with no additional charge.

Installation began 2 weeks ago and is still only two thirds done. The gutter for the back dormer was the wrong length - whether they measured wrong or cut wrong, I don't know.

The installer told me when he thought he would be back to do it but the days went by and he didn't come back and he didn't call me. He didn't call me until I called the company to find out what was going on. When he did call me, he seemed annoyed that I had called the company, but he told another day by which he thought he would be back to complete the installation. Those days, too, went by with no communication. It should be such a simple thing - say what you're doing to do and then do what you say or call and let me know.

Today I received a voicemail message from the salesman with a question about a contract that clearly wasn't even mine. All told, materials have been sitting in my front yard, killing the grass and creating a hazard for anyone approaching my front door, for two weeks.

I'm beginning to doubt whether anyone at this company realizes they have a signed contract with me or that they have valuable materials sitting in my front yard.

They did a great job. We're prompt in returning to address a couple of issues which were the result of some very, very heavy rain, and have not reoccurred since. I would definitely recomend them and their product. It's been 2 plus years now and everything is good to go.

I've had these gutters for about 10 years and have always had a very positive experience whenever I call Leaf Guard.
I called a couple weeks ago to see if caulking a seam was covered under the 20 yr warranty, and, much to my surprise, it was!  I told  her there was no rush and they could just come over when they were in the neighborhood.  I also asked if I could have a couple more downspout clips so I could put them up while mowing.  The woman said she'd put them in the mail, and I received them a couple days later.
Although I had explained where the drips were coming from, I was glad I was at home to point it out to the guys, since they thought a different area was causing the leak.  They were polite and friendly, explaining a screw had pulled free.  They replace the screw and re-caulked the seam, as well as plugged up 2 holes between the gutter and house where the bird nests were.
Although the gutters were expensive up-front, they've NEVER clogged (despite being under large trees) and still look great.  These gutters are worth every penny and I frequently recommend them to my friends and family.
