We were very pleased with their professionalism and workmanship.

My project went smoothly, and contractors were in and out when they said. I work with Lindus Construction for almost all of my building maintenance needs. Their workmanship is of the finest quality, and if there is a problem they will be out to repair it. I had them do my maintenance free deck and had a very minor issue they took care of one year later. They say what they will do and do it, they are on time. If I have a question of the contractors while they are working they patiently answer them; however, I will usually ask my questions of the foreman right away in the morning before they get started.

The project went very well and we are very happy with the final result. The bid came in the lowest of 4 different bids and the communication between myself and the project manager was excellent. The attention to detail and the work ethic of the contractors was also very good (one of them worked 12 hours just to get the project finished). Lindus was able to rearrange their schedule to get our project done during a time of year that is very busy for them and I really appreciated that. I look forward to them working on additional projects.

The Deck I was very impressed with the process. It started with the design process and the plans were exactly what we asked for. The plan had to be modified slightly based on issues that the city inspector had but it didn't require altering any of our specs. Our sales rep, Michael, kept us informed throughout the process of what was going on and checked in during the build also. Lindus used a diamond pier system for the footings on the deck. That was nice since it didn't require any digging or waiting for the cement to cure before construction to start. The build itself took a few days due to the size of the deck. Very nice cedar that matched perfectly to the deck that was built with the house. The crew did a good job of cleaning up at the end of the day and left the site in a safe condition. They used full length deck boards so there are no seams anywhere. It is a solid deck with no bounce or sags. Since it was so low to the ground it only required a handrail on one small portion and it is very sturdy. The side farthest from the house has angled sides and the joints are very tight on the skirt boards, indicating their attention to detail. I highly recommend talking with Lindus when considering a deck. Gutters and Downspouts Right after we moved in, we worked with Lindus to install Leafguard system on our house. Michael took the time to find the exact right color to match our trim work. It looks like it was designed for our house. I was impressed with the way the downspouts were routed into boxes with buried hose and pop-up boxes at the end to move the water away from the house and basement walls. We had flooding in a previous house so I am always cautious about water near my foundation! The downspouts are larger and more robust than the ones that you can get from any local DIY center. The installation only took one day so we didn't even see it happen! They showed up after we left for work and were done by the time we came home. The site was clean with no debris or dropped screws or nails.

They project went very well. We were very pleased with their professionalism and workmanship. It was a rather large project and when they remove your entire roof system it can be nerve racking to say the least. The roof was removed and then we got a bunch of rain with only a tarp as a roof. They did an excellent job at preventing what could have been catastrophic water damage. We had a little bit of water intrusion, but very little. After the rain storm they moved swiftly to get the trusses and roof system up. There were only a few small glitches along the way, but they solved those issues quickly and always kept us in the loop. In a project this large a few glitches was to be expected. Lindus was very easy to work with and kept us informed. We are very picky and they worked very well with us. We also wanted to do a few things in the project ourselves to save money and they were also willing to do that. Everyone in the company was very polite, and easy to work with. They took care and tried not to damage our yard or plants as they worked. They did an amazing job. We were at first a little unsure about hiring Lindus because we saw a lot of advertising for gutter work. We knew they had done construction work and projects similar to this, but hadn't seen examples of their work. There are a lot of reviews on Angies list for gutter and roofing work, but little construction work. We would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them. Their work is first rate. I think they charge more than some other construction companies, but we feel you get what you pay for. Thank you Lindus Construction and to all the employees that were involved in our project.

From beginning to end, Lindus Construction continuously exceeded my expectations. Mike was very informative about the process and never showed any signs of pressuring us into making a decision. I was very comfortable with choosing Lindus Construction. Amy did a great job with communication in the office and Corey was extremely helpful on-site as the project was progressing. The workers were very friendly and worked very hard. I was very very impressed with their workmanship and thorough cleanup of my yard upon completion. I would highly recommend Lindus Construction for any project at your home and I will definitely be using them for future projects at my home.

Very punctual, arrived when they said they would. Because it was so busy they had to change the plan of action from the back of the house to the front. Unfortunately they had scaffolding up and we didn't have our vehicles out of the garage. They very politely removed scaffolding so we could get out. No grousing or complaining. Very personable and exchanged professional conversations. Daily cleanup and pick up was immaculate.

I would definitely recommend this company to everyone. Prices may be a bit higher than other gutter companies, but this companies product is top of the line. Not only that, the workers were skilled and efficient. They were on time when they promised to be there, they took care to not damage any of my property. The workers were pleasant and easy to talk to as they knew what they were doing. Very professional Company from the gentleman who came out to do the estimate to the installers, and all the behind the scenes personal who did such a great job putting our project together. From original bid to installation Lindus Construction personnel were professional, timely and thorough in all interactions. Once the contract was signed a follow up appointment and installation went as planned. The workmen were professional and quite helpful. Clean up was excellent and the finished product looks great.

The whole process went well from start to finish. Jordan, the sales rep, did a great job inspecting our property and used photos he had taken to identify areas of concern. He was knowledgeable and obviously proud of the company he works for. The best part was there was never any pressure. We were told we would be contacted when the install team would be in our area. That call came within a week. All of the supplies needed were delivered to our home prior to the job starting date. There was a conflict on the day the project was scheduled to begin, but the installers called promptly that morning to advise us. When they arrived the following day, they rang the doorbell to introduce themselves and let us know the plan. Josh and Eric were wonderful to work with. They carefully removed all of my garden art and replaced it at the end of the day after cleaning up their work area. They were courteous and professional and you could tell they knew what they were doing. We were very pleased with Lindus construction and would use them again for future projects and recommend them to friends and family.

This was less than a stellar experience. To encapsulate: four months to complete an external, deck/patio project and two thousand dollars over estimate. Lindus has very good marketing and we were very excited to do our first, large-scale home improvement. Their in-home marketing/free quote is very slick and professional and talks about how few BBB complaints they have and how customer service is their #1 priority. We signed on the dotted line when they said they could get us on the schedule by May 20 and should be complete at the end of June in time to enjoy the summer. We thought it was a little spendy, but figured we would get good customer service as part of the premium price. My initial call was in mid-February and they scheduled our in-home quote on April 8. The project was supposed to begin on May 20, but didn't begin until June 12. No word from Lindus the week they were supposed to start and when I finally made contact, I was told they were waiting on permits. *note to Lindus, you might not want to lie to your clients about this sort of thing when you hang the permit paperwork on their front door. The paperwork clearly showed a two-day turnaround. I confirmed this with the permit company.* Inauspicious start. There were numerous mistakes made, from designing the patio to bisect a casement window to forgetting to order the ceiling to the enclosed under-deck porch to neglecting to design in a gutter off the end of the deck. Had just one thing happened, we would have shrugged it off, but every little mistake pushed our project further and further into the summer. Our crew, excellent though they were, were constantly being pulled off of our job to go to other jobs, which also made our project time drag. The biggest screw-up was the ordering of the wrong color siding and then installing it anyway. We were told that the company was an expert in matching older siding and that it wouldn't be a problem. The deck itself was completed in mid-July, the under-porch patio was not completed until late August. I had to remind our project manager that there were sections of my house without siding and had been that way since June. I came home from work to find that the back of my house looked like patchwork (see attached pictures). When called on this, I was then told they couldn't have known it wouldn't match until they put it up on the house. They didn't send their siding expert out to our house to color match until September AFTER the colossal mistake had been made. He brought out some samples which were CLEARLY a better match, they just hadn't bothered at the beginning of the project. The work around was to reside the entire wall of the garage and work the old siding into the back of the house. This was Lindus' mistake and it ended up costing us an extra, unbudgeted 2K. So, finally, the siding was replaced the first week in October, after which I had no communication that the work was completed and inspected with the exception of a voicemail basically saying, and I quote, "We're done and I'm sending you the bill. I know you're not happy with the cost, but I have to make my margins." I had to check with the permit company that the final inspection had been completed. Lindus was supposed to schedule a final walk-around, which never happened. The final product is nice, but this was a long, drawn-out, and unpleasant experience.

They asked first of all where we would like the dumpster, but the dumpster deliverer put it where he wanted it not where we wanted it. Other than that the work was done efficiently. The crew was courteous and made sure everything was picked up and gone when they left. The supervisor, Dusty, was very nice and answered all questions. When the job was finished it was beautiful! Although it was a little spendy, you can tell the quality is very good. I would recommend Lindus to anyone needing quality work.

I found all the teams to be completely professional, on time, efficient, knew what they were doing, did quality workmanship, were careful of my property, helped find solutions to small things, like I needed something on my garage to keep the garbage carts from scuffing the new siding. Everyone was patient when I had questions or wanted to know how something worked like the new outlet covers and I feel they went beyond what they had to do to make sure everything was the way I wanted. Lindus had been recommended to me by a friend and after checking Angie's List, I chose to go with them. The price was a little higher than some but the quality of the work and of the product was all I had hoped it to be. Lindus will be my go to people if I need more work done.

The short story...Lindus' estimation process is inefficient, incredibly slow, with poor emphasis on helping the customer. The longer story.... The quotation process started in Nov when I asked for an appointment. I used to be a huge Lindus fan with a long history of listening and calling into their WCCO radio show. The day of or before the Dec appointment, they called to say the estimator was sick and needed to reschedule. They never called back to reschedule putting the responsibility on me to make a 2nd call. Minor irritation. Since it was their cancellation and not mine, I believe that they should have taken the responsibility to reschedule. The estimator came in January and we worked together to understand the project. Then he excused himself to finish up some paperwork in the car. I had to wait 1.5 hours while the estimator sat in his car preparing paperwork that I was never given a copy of. Large waste of my time. During our meeting, I felt that I was very clear that I wanted a detailed, line-by-line estimate of the costs so that I could make purchase choices to get the most done with the money that I had available to spend. The estimator was annoyingly aggressive in the first meeting asking me if I planned to finance or pay with cash. Odd that he'd be pressing the finance question when an estimate hasn't even been prepared. I was assured that the detailed, line-by-line estimate would be ready within days and sent via email. 8 weeks later + several phone calls + numerous emails but Lindus has still not sent a quotation. During the 8 weeks, I was sent to addresses to inspect work done and color choices but Lindus couldn't identify the colors they sent me to see. Losing patience, I called the main office to ask for some support. I was matched with a Lindus family member who sent some information that was mildly useful but did not get to the root of the problem. I was provided a handwritten list of sub-totals rather than the detailed, line-by-line estimate of the costs that I requested. It seemed unprofessional to send a handwritten list of sub-totals, but that's only my opinion. What was worse to me is that I never received the detailed quote that I requested on day 1. All and all, I wasted 8-10 weeks waiting for their poor estimation process to complete (which it never did). Do yourself a favor and save time by partnering with one of the other Angie's list contractors that have great ratings. I was able to work with 2 other contractors and complete the estimation process (plus visiting recent jobs) in 4 days. Lindus could not have made the estimation process more difficult if they tried. I am no longer a fan of Lindus. I am a new Angie's list member and a huge fan because it was Angie's list that helped me to identify 2 professional contractors motivated to do the job.

A lindus representative came to our house, on time, and was able to give us an estimate at the time of his visit. He was thorough and also found that our attic was insulated with vermiculite that needed to be abated. He was very clear in explaining what had to be done and gave us a very competent referral for the vermiculite. Their follow through was as complete as the proposal stage. They took into consideration the cold weather, minimized our inconvenience, and performed as expected. There were four different crews that needed to be coordinated on this project. Timing, scheduling of crews, adjusting schedules and our anticipated completion was all handled expertly by Donna Olson at Lindus. We were very pleased with how smoothly this project was handled and the professional workmanship that went into it. We would highly recommend Lindus Construction.

I scheduled a meeting with a sales representative referred to me by my aunt whom she worked with at Lindus. As she spoke highly of the service provided by them on the project at her home, I readily considered them for the project at my home. The amazing experience was not replicated at my home unfortunately. I met with my sales representative and he presented the product offering regarding gutters, facia and soffits for my home. While it was a bit more than the norm price-wise, the quality and reputation were there for me to approve the job. I was informed that they were currently scheduling service out 6-8 weeks from order date. This placed the job to begin mid to late October. This is where this experience started going downhill. As we started to approach mid-October, I began contacting my representative to see if I could get a more specific date that the install would begin. Seven emails and three voicemail over the course of 2 weeks garnered zero response from my representative. I eventually called the main Lindus office where I was transferred to a few different voicemail boxes to leave a message. I eventually got a response from one of the installation managers who apologized for the delay. He stated that he didn't understand why I was quoted 6-8 weeks as they had been scheduling out at least 12 weeks for most of the summer. My project was to begin the last week of November. I understood that this miscommunication can happen at times and awaited the start of my job in November. That never happened. My aunt offered to pay a lion's share of the cost of this project and finance it through Lindus as a housewarming gift for me. The entire application and transaction was handled by Lindus. Apparently, there was one form that did not get e-signed correctly and the transaction approval "got stuck" which required intervention on our part. However, no one ever informed us that this was an issue. It wasn't until I called trying to find out what was going on with the installation date that someone finally said there was a missing signature for the account. We got that corrected and I left another message for the installation manager to call me back with what the install date would be. About a week later, my aunt got a call stating that installation would begin on 12.14.15. Despite the fact that I signed the contract and all the calls/emails from me, I never got a call or any notification regarding this new install date. Infuriated by all the lack of communication, I called to the main Lindus office again and was put in contact with the production manager over my gutter system. He apologized for the problems and couldn't understand why I was not informed of the account issues. I informed him at that time that the dates they had scheduled with my aunt that I would be out of town and needed a different date. While the service could have occurred without me, I wanted to observe the work being completed. He stated that he would return my call within 24 hours to see what we could do. To date, I have not received that return call. One day, product showed up on my front lawn a few days ahead of the 14th and a work crew arrived on 12.14 and began install. The project was completed on 12.15 and some scrap material was left on my front lawn. Not sure if they were going to return or not, I began to make plans to dispose of the scrap. About a week later, the scrap disappeared. Bottom line, Lindus Construction performed what appears to be a quality job on the actual project but the communication from their company is horrendous. Based on the recommendations from my aunt, I had hoped I found a partner that I could use on future renovation projects. Based on my experience, I continue to look for that vendor. If you want a quality, professional installation with a great product and be in the dark the entire time as what's going to happen when and requiring your continual intervention to accomplish anything, use Lindus Construction.

We had a small job and they had a busy schedule. They gave us an estimate and they were very close to getting our work done when they indicated. The work involved adding gutters on a new addition. Their gutter system is seamless, so we needed to get some new gutter to extend on one side, but they were also able to reuse some of the existing gutter. It took a while for them to come out, but when they got us on the schedule it was done the day they indicated. They cleaned up all debris and they gutters look great. Their gutters aren't cheap, but they have worked well over the years.

A sales representative was the first in-person contact with Lindus; he was prompt, professional and explained/listened well as we did a walk around the house to discuss the project. Several days before scheduled installation, a truck showed up to deliver materials and form the lengths of seamless gutter from roll stock. The materials were safely placed well out of our way. Two workers showed up on the promised date and completed the project all in one day. They were neat, courteous and patiently answered my questions. They asked me how I wanted downspout extensions handled. The workers cleaned up after themselves and the gutters look securely installed.

Went fine until I needed a service call. It took 3 months to get someone out for a 5 minute repair. Many phone calls and no response.

We had contacted Lindus as we had used them once before in 1998 and were pleased with their services. One of their representatives came out within a few days after we called and spent several hours measuring and reviewing their products and services with us. Within a few days, we received a couple of different estimates which provided us with some choices that would fit our budget. As some of the work was covered by insurance, we had to wait for the insurance company to review and approve our claim. We eventually executed an agreement with Lindus to do the shingles, soffits, fascia and gutters. Lindus used three different crews. One to replace the shingles, another to do the soffits and fascia and a third for the new Leaf Guard gutter system. While the fall is usually the busiest time of the year for this type of work, it did commence within three-four weeks after the paperwork was completed and the permits obtained. The roof was completed in less than 2 days, and the all the materials and workmanship is of the best quality. The roof carries a 50 year warranty by the manufacturer and Lindus. The metal soffits and fascia also were installed in less than 2 days and again the workmanship is of the best quality. Everything fits and looks good. And should be maintenance free. The seamless Leaf Guard gutter system was installed in less than one day. Again, the installers were experts in their field and knew what they were doing. If you have a need for this type of work, do consider contacting Lindus for a quote. They may not always be the lowest estimate, but the quality of the materials and workmanship is well worth the price of the completed project. All of our shrubs, plants and bushes were covered and protected when necessary and they carefully cleaned up after all work was completed. I would recommend Lindus to anyone and would gladly use them again.

I contacted Lindus Construction to get an estimate on installing a small gutter and a hinge-kicker for 1 of our downspouts the beginning of August. They were extremely busy, so we had to wait 1 1/2 weeks for someone to come out for the estimate. Austin arrived on August 12th and we went over what we needed for the job. He wrote up an estimate, but informed me that they were really busy, but because it was such a small job they might be able to squeeze us in if they were working in our area. He said he would let me know for sure in a day or two. When I didn't hear from him I called the office to find out when we would be on the schedule. I was transferred to someone who did the scheduling and left a message. When I didn't hear anything for another week I called back. That's when I got Carla who saw by our paperwork that we had some kind of problem. She said there was some type of glitch, but she would get to the bottom of it and someone would get back to us soon. I got a call the very next day and was told that they would be out to install everything on September 1st. Within 10 minutes I had 2 guys from Lindus standing at my front door telling me that they were in the area and thought they would stop by and take care of my 5 minute job. Now I was really confused because I knew it would take more than 5 minutes to install the gutter and the hinge-kicker. They said they only knew about the hinge-kicker and someone would be out on the 1st to install the gutter. They installed the hinge-kicker in minutes, and then even checked out the other downspout in the back of the house which was full of garbage/dirt. They were kind enough to clean that all out for me. On September 1st 2 more guys came and installed the small gutter and did a beautiful job. Looking back it was simply a comedy of errors, but I sure am glad that Carla answered the phone when I called the 2nd time rather than just going to someone's voice mail. When Carla tells you someone will get right back to you she means it. Thanks Carla!!!!! Lindus is lucky to have you!

The gentleman that came to do the estimate was prompt, thorough and very knowledgeable. He did a video so we could see clearly the areas that were damaged and in need of repair. Staff that came to install were professional, left no mess or damage to area (we had just had new landscaping done around house). We were so impressed we talked with our son (lives in St Paul )who needed a new roof and he used them also. Turned out to be more than a roof for their 100+ year old house. They were beyond impressed with job and professionalism of staff who performed the various tasks. Were there when they said they would be and finished when they said they would be done. Looks fantastic!

They were very receptive to any input that I may have had during the construction process. The finished project exceeded my expectations in terms of making my basement space more efficient and usable.

It was fine. The salesman was very efficient and spent a lot of time on the roof. He gave me his card and told me that if I had an adjuster come out to call him and he would come out to be there when the adjuster was there. When I called to let him know when the adjuster was coming, I heard nothing back.

They were great. They were on time and they were very professional.
