John did more than expected. I could trust him to do what he said, when he said (or sooner) even though I was 250 miles from the cabin and unable to see progress until it was well advanced. His rates are very reasonable and he was cognizant of both material and labour costs. Fit and finish was very professional, and he was able to put the additions on such that you could not tell that they were additions. There were a few minor issues which were taken care of right away. In retrospect, I should have had a better idea as to what I all wanted done as the scope kept expanding. He was very flexible in that regard but did it delay the process as he had other projects that he had committed timelines to.
