It went very well! I was very impressed with Jason's professionalism and knowledge. I had a unique situation and not a simple uninstall. Jason was through, explained each step he was doing and did it with a smile. Excellent customer service! The best part, he comes to the house, usually the same day, and I was up and running within a few hours. No waiting for days, no pick up/drop off/lengthily downtime. I would recommend The Computer Guy wholeheartedly!

I called the Computer Guys and made an appointment to drop my laptop off. They went over their fee schedule with me and said they would call in a day or two with the estimate. They called me less than two hours later with the estimate and said the computer would be ready in one week since they had to order a keyboard. A week later I picked up the computer, their estimate matched the bill to the penny and the computer is back up and running with no issues. Much better than an experience I had two years ago with a big box store.

They worked around our schedule very well and were very helpful in answering any questions we had. They were competent and very professional.

My HP Pavillion laptop would not boot up. I called to schedule an appointment. The technician was able to come to my house the next day. He reseated the memory as a precaution, but said he was pretty sure it was the AC adapter since the adapter was beeping. He offered to pick up an adapter and come back the next day, but I said I could get an adapter. He recommended a local computer store where I could purchase an adapter. The store was able to confirm it was the adapter before I purchased it. Problem solved! Since I did that myself, he gave me a 1/2 hour credit that I can use toward other service from them. Also, their policy for how they charge for service is very reasonable - they will cap the service charge to two hours at $79 an hour no matter how long the repair takes. There is a minimum charge of one hour at $79.

The technician answered all my questions thoroughly, even one not directly related to my laptop problem. I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future. It's really nice to know there is a quality computer repair company in the local area.

I took my six-year old Toshiba laptop to this store because I was having problems with the usb ports on one side and even more important, I was unable to turn it on. The owner/technician determined that the start button module needed to be replaced. He ordered one from another retailer (eBay I think) and when the part came in, he fixed it. He told me that he was unable to fix the usb port thing but I was fine with this. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an old laptop.

Excellent! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and outcome. Placed call for an appointment, spoke with Jason, and we set up a mutually agreeable time and date within a few days of initial call. Technician, Mike, arrived on time, was very polite and professional and pleasant to have in my home. He went right to work, provided everything I was hoping for, and explained everything to me in language I understood with no "geek speak".

Jason returns your message the same day, usually within the same hour. He comes right to your home to work on your system so there is no disconnection of your system. He even works evenings which is wonderful for us working people. I continue to and have recommended his services several times to friends and associates.

I bought a new Dell computer with SATA power connectors that are not compatible with an audio card that I needed to install. The computer guy recommended a new power supply with the correct connectors (the old style) and did a perfect install for me. I am a fairly tech savvy person, put changing out a power supply was more than I wanted to do. I picked The Computer Guy blindly out of the Yellow Pages because they had the best looking and descriptive advertisement. I am glad I did!

I didn't want to pay a large amount of money for someone to fix my iPod problem when I could use that money towards a new iPod. I called the Computer Guy and mentioned this. They said that most times iPod problems are software-related and that they could help. They did leave the option open to me. The serviceman arrived on time, was professionally dressed and friendly. He tried many things to see what the problem was. With each thing he was doing he described in non-techie terms what he was doing. The end resolution was to start my PC over from scratch with reinstalling everything. He provided me with instructions on how to do this. He also offered free help over the phone if I had problems during the reinstall. He was at my house for 2.5 hours (at $70 an hour) and only charged me $70 because he was unable to solve the problem (although he did diagnose it correctly). I was VERY impressed with the whole experience. Especially since I just blindly picked them out of the phone book!
