"Thanks for the work, it was great to work with you again!"
"Thanks, it was great to work with you!"
cold. The workers were personable, reliable, and efficient. When the
job was completed the cleanup was exceptional.
I couldn't have
been happier with the results. If you are considering SPS for a roofing
job they are exactly the folks that should be hired. Even when the
workers needed to go to another flat of shingles over what was
estimated, my final price was no higher than the estimate I was given.
That doesn't happen very much in this world anymore, most places would
have passed the additional cost on to me and just said that an estimate
is just that an estimate.
"Thank you, we pride ourselves in sticking to our price, unless we un cover something major under the roof"
"Thank you and it was great working with you. We hope all is well"
"Thank you for the work. It was great to meet you. Badger Football season is almost here!!"
"Thank for the work. All of our crew members are from the area but it is a different crew for the gutters and the roof. Give us a call if you still dislike the down spouts, they are directly from the supply house, so I am a little surprised, but want to make you happy."
"Thank you for the work, Lightning strike drip edge as a souvenir was a first for me, Is it hung on the wall now?"
Nick from SPS sent out Erik to look at the roof and give us an estimate. Erik was very professional and provided us with a variety of options for our roof replacement. He explained the job in detail regarding SPS procedures for roof replacement and was up front about any other problems which may occur and costs once the roof was removed (such as finding rotten deck boards, etc.) The estimate and quote were very detailed, so we knew exactly what was entailed with the costs. We received the estimate in a timely manner, and work was scheduled to be done in 1-2 weeks.
The crew at SPS were excellent! They arrived promptly each day and worked extremely hard. The weather was very hot (in the 90's), and the crew kept working taking very few breaks. They made sure our roof was secure each day of the job in case it rainned, which was a concern for us. We found the crew to be very professional, and they answered all of our questions about the materials, work being done and any other questions we had. It was refreshing to see the crew of SPS take such pride in their workmanship! You certainly do not see that everyday. The crew also kept our yard extremely clean during the job. They treated our home as if it was their own, going out of their way to make sure the job was done right, and experience for us very good.
We are very happy with the job SPS Roofing Systems did with our total roof replacement. The quote that SPS provided us with was exactly what we were charged for the job. No hidden costs or surprises. SPS takes pride in their workmanship and are true professionals you can trust. We definitely recommend them to others.
"Hey Member First of all Thanks for the work and we will always stand behind our work! As an Angie’s list 2 time super service award winner I just wanted to clarify a few details on your posting. While we were doing your roof you had requested that we remove 1 of 2 chimneys on your house. I asked you if it was used to vent anything. You told me it was the chimney for your old wood burning stove and all your utilities were in the middle of the house and vented out the chimney in the middle of the house. I had no reason to doubt this because the old wood burner was located on the same side of the house as the chimney you wanted removed. I agreed to remove the chimney and replace decking at no additional charge to you. Shortly after we were done with the job you called me on a weekend I believe Sunday and said there was some ice in your attic. I came out immediately and investigated the problem. Upon investigating the issue I discovered that whoever installed your water heater in the middle of the house had ran piping all the way across your basement and tied it into the old wood burning stove chimney. I immediately called a plumber and paid him double time for working on a weekend and had him come over and re route your venting pipe the correct way. I did not charge you anything for any of the work out there and if you remember I also had the plumber investigate a plumbing leak in your bathroom for free while he was there. As I stated above we will always stand behind our work, but in this case I feel as though your grading of a D is a little harsh since we were not the installers of the original mechanical equipment and I responded immediately also it cost me $1,200 to fix the exhaust issue which I did not ask for a single penny from you for because I decided I should not have taken your word for the venting situation and should have checked it out myself. If you could edit my grade I would appreciate it."
I would use them and their services again. The crew was so nice, I even bought them lunch everday for how hard they work. The work was done on time and within budget. Thank you SPS.
SPS also worked out a reasonable payment plan with us.
When the work was started the crews appeared skilled and knowledgable, and did a fine job.
I recommend SPS Roofing Systems and would use them again.
See above....
I got the quote and sent back the signed quote/contract with half down as requested on 8/17/11. The understanding was that I wanted it done ASAP, and I was told it would be about 3 weeks, via reply via email on 8/18/11. Shingles came around end of September. Sat there for about two weeks. I emailed again, asking when we would get our roof. Was told on 10/10/11 "this week". Then they emailed again that same week saying that due to the weather might not be that week, but that they would keep us posted.
10/21/11 I emailed again and asked when they were gonna do the roof, and was told they would be there Mon Oct 24, which DID happen.
They got the job done in a few days. Cleaned up pretty well. Only problem was a piece of flashing went through an awning over our back porch and put a hole in it. In retrospect, we should have put the awning up, not something we thought of, they could have done it too.
