They were 30 minutes early and got right to work. They appreciated our input on exactly what to cut and never hurried our decisions. They were very protective and careful of our property and home. All cut limbs and small trees were chipped using their own chipper. Cleaned up well afterward. Rather than calling them tree trimmers, it would be more accurate to say they were tree surgeons. In my opinion, they are the best of the best.

Jerry was honest, professional, and polite on the phone and while here, punctual arriving, did not rush us, and gave expert advice as well as a fair quote to do the work needed to save our trees.

I had to have 3 trees cut down and their stumps ground out. I called and they booked a date for a week later and that was fine, but they called me later to see if they were able come in the next day and take out the trees, because they had a schedule change. This worked out very well for me. They cut the trees to 18" in length and stacked them nicely. The yard around the removals was nicely raked up.
I was told that they would be out next week to grind out the stumps, because they had the grinder at another job site. Also, they had to call Diggers Hotline to have the area marked out for the utility lines on the property. As promised, the next week Diggers Hotline came and marked out all of the utilities and the following day, Charles and the grinder was there and my stumps were removed as promised and again the removal sites were nicely raked flat and cleaned up.
I had forgotten that I had another stump in the yard that I had meant to ask about. The tree had been sawed down at some time in the past, but the stump was still there. I asked if it would be too much trouble to take that one out as well, since the grinder was already there. Charles said he would, because of its size and that it would be no problem to help me out with its removal. It was also interesting to find out that Charles had an Associates Degree in Landscaping and was extremely knowledgeable when I asked him questions concerning my tree care.
I was delighted with their services and will gladly call them again for my landscaping needs. In my opinion, Rangers gets an A+ rating!

So far so good. I'm pleased the the results so far. I'd score all A ratings, but I've only had one treatment and overseeding done so far so it's a little early to judge.

A Ranger rep called me back right away and showed up for a walk-through within a few days of my call. He was very polite and courteous and above all really seemed to know what he was doing. I have many many trees and didn't know what to tell him in terms of what to cut and how much, I could just say the yard was feeling closed-in. He could work with that, thankfully. He played back accurately that I wanted an open "park" feel and pointed out how he would achieve that on a few trees. We walked the property, he took notes and asked questions, I felt confident when he left. When the team returned (4 guys, as I remember), they were quite efficient and quite professional, and had the right equipment and skills to do the job. Each team member seemed to know what his job was - no standing around and no wasted movements. There was a lot of high-off-the-ground work; they zipped up and down in a flash. They didn't make any mess! They didn't play loud music! They didn't pee in the woods! They were professionals! Above all, I liked Ranger because they didn't need a lot of instruction on what to do - I hate it when they stand there waiting for instructions on something you don't know anything about. I didn't get other quotes and I have heard Ranger is more expensive, but it seemed pretty reasonable - four guys for a couple of hours doing difficult stuff, for a total of around $700. You're not getting someone off the street when you hire Ranger - everyone obviously had a lot of training. I would definitely go back to this company.

The crew removed the limb without damaging any other limbs. Since the main trunk was split to the ground, they cable tied two of the largest limbs to prevent any further damage to the main trunk. They removed all debris and left a clean site and "almost" as good as knew tree behind! Very, very professional operation!

They are one of the bigger companies, and a lot of people in the area use them. I had a fine experience with them. They are certified arborists as well, so they are pretty well trusted as far as their knowledge. They are not really like a fly by night kind of place. They first came and diagnosed what they thought it was. They recommended an insect treatment. It is not really uncommon or a real big problem to get taken care of. We did that, and they came back for a second application. They also gave me an estimate for trimming and pruning that tree as well, which we will probably do in the next year. They charged $85 per application.
