"Thanks for the review Carol. Unfortunatly when we had initially spoke the picture that was sent was of a stump still covered sitting in a rock bed. This is one of the main reasons I do not like doing quotes off pictures. I was very clear about $2 per inch at the widest diameter. I had said if the stump was truly less than 30 inches as it enters the ground, it would have been $65. After the rock had been removed, turns out that was indeed not the case at all. I had said a stump that size would have normally gone for $150 and I asked if we would meet in the middle somewhere if possible. Otherwise I would have gladly ate the cost difference."
