Roof was done.  but there was over $1,600 additional charges after the fact that we had to cover.  They shredded our siding and tore off one of front shutters.  They refuse to call or try and fix this.  They are also not done with a small portion of our roof that we paid for…but I cannot get them to work with us now.  I would NEVER recommend them.

I recommend them to other people. They were very good and not only the owner, who also does the estimating, but the crew. I have used the crew a couple of times and have asked for the same crew back. I have used them on other jobs for houses too.

They did a very thorough job and I was very impressed. However, their prices seemed high. I will be checking with a couple other roofers to compare.

Powell went the extra mile for the whole project. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. I was picky with shingle colors (they provided me addresses of jobs they did so I could look at quality and color), siding color matching, working with the insurance company, and concern with some of the details of the work. The chimney was reinstalled crooked, there were a few stains in the driveway, and a lot of nails left in the grass. I called Powell and they owners showed up right away with their crew and took care of it. Highly recommend this company - they will make sure you are happy.

Their team was very fast - and no mess. Mike was kind enough to talk
through the repair over the phone - even though I worry the cost of the repair
won't cover his time to come out and quote, talk on the phone, and
finally send a team out to do the fix. The seal has held through the
recent rain.
All in all, a very pleasant experience!

Powell Roofing was contacted last fall for competeive pricing on the roof of our 30 year old hillside house. Clint the salesmans was prompt, courteous, and thorough. The product and work was well explained.
Their crew arrived on time, explained required repairs and worked safely. Clean up was done through out the day. The neighbors yards were checked for wind blown debris. One minor issue was addressed by Mike the morning I sent an email. The problem was not a roofing issue and Mike provided information and a contact list. I was impressed by the concern for our home.
Our neighbors who recently had new roofs installed were impressed at work and the clean up.
The best way to put it is: courteous, quick, thorough. Powell Roofing is a contactor that values integrity.They will be doing another building for us this summer.

It was over $7000, but my insurance covered most of it. They followed through on what they were supposed to do. They kept in touch. They were pretty polite. It's too early to tell if the roof is holding up and I assume it will. I had a follow up with them to make sure that the things were done the way I wanted. They pretty much got it done the way I wanted it. I think their price was fair. The materials they used were A-level. I would use their services again, but I would make sure I follow up.

They removed the old roof and put the new one on. They were very good about cleaning up everyday around the house, the driveway and the bushes. They did that everyday when they came to work, they were really good about that. They hauled off all the debris and junk. We were very pleased with them.

Mike Powell and his associate Clint are very knowledgeable about roofing and home repairs/improvements. They were a joy to work with. They were helpful in selecting the best materials for our home and they honored their estimates to the penny.

The first part of the project was to replace the roof. They put a full crew on the roofing job and they showed up promptly at 7:00AM as promised on the agreed upon date. One thing that impressed me was the fact that their crew was on the roof and working hard within 5 minutes of their arrival. No screwing around. They removed the old roof and installed the new roof and installed sun tube and new vents in one day! They were also very thorough in cleaning up. In fact, you'd hardly know they had been there.

After our electricians were finished adding some outdoor lighting, Powell came back a couple of weeks later to replace the fascia, soffit, and gutters. They did an excellent job on those as well.

Throughout the entire project, their crews were careful, respectful, and polite. They coordinated well with the electrician that we had working to add some outside lights. We were so impressed by the quality of their work and their crews that we chose them to replace our windows too.

They were prompt....here when they said they would be. Did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Had the job done in 2 days. Didn't drag it out like some other places did to our neighbors.
