About us

Nolte's has been serving Oshkosh since 1970, doing auto repair and towing. In 2012 we purchased Towstar Towing Service, the second oldest towing company in Appleton. We have Uhaul rentals at both locations, and indoor/outdoor large vehicle storage in our Appleton location. We are available 24/7 365 days a year for towing services.

Service person arrived at my house within 30 minutes after a call to AAA membership service which contacted Nolte's. Service person was friendly and efficient. He made me feel comfortable even though I had left the interior car roof light on and forgotten to turn it off, causing the battery to expire. I felt somewhat foolish for forgetting to turn off the light, but was reassured when I was told how many people do the same thing. Good experience. I was back on the road quickly and in time for my appointment.
