I engaged Fred Locke to conduct an estate appraisal of my properties following my husband's passing, seeking a second opinion after a previous appraiser undervalued my beachside properties by comparing them to distant inland properties due to a lack of comparable sales in the vicinity; although Mr. Locke justified his higher fees of $4000.00 by claiming to employ unique methods for accurate appraisals without relying solely on comparable sales, his subsequent appraisal results were surprisingly lower than the criticized previous appraiser, leaving me feeling deceived and questioning the integrity of his services.
